Two week old tank update

I added the second shipment of LR to my tank one week ago. So, it was filled with water just two weeks ago (wow...that seems so strange...seems like i've had it forever already). Here's a few update pics.

Weelllll...here's the thing. The mantis was not as interested in the trap as the rest of my inhabitants and I eventually had to remove it the trap. So (oh, I feel like a horrible person but...) I stuffed a shell in the exit of his hole and am waiting for the clicking to stop.

I know - I know...I'm awful. Isn't the sacrifice of one worth it if it saves others though? Of course, today I was reading that if fed well sometimes they don't bother anybody. I realize I could have doused the rock in soda water or whatever but really don't want to disturb all my inhabitants. :banher:

id hate to see you kill it, not only since its a senseless death, but whats the chances its not a mantis?.. is there still the possibility that it could be a pistol shrimp?
it has to be eating something... are any of your fish or inverts missing?

I soooooooo love this tank. I can hardly watch tv anymore.
 
Basket Star likes good flow

The basket star fish originally came in on the candelabra gorgonia. He has since discovered the God of Flow and worships before the altar of Koralia.

Anything there is a pic of in here came from Richard at TBS in my package. Well, I ordered the equipment online but you get my point. Every ounce of life came from my LR order. Amazing.
