ONe reason to vote that way is because NO ONE HAS DONE ANYTHING. Up until this point, it's been a very cordial town... which, of course, plays into the mafia's hands very nicely.

Now, if you have a crystal ball for figuring out turn 1 bad guys, then let's hear it, but until then, we all know what a crap shoot day 1 is.

And I said I was tempted to vote for the next to last poster. Doesn't mean that I will, but the thought came up because Mafia have been known to post as little as possible so that they don't get caught in a lie or slip-up. You don't happen to have a reason to be protective of someone who hasn't posted yet do you?

I was bored and, when I found the link, I thought it was funny so I decided to post it here. I figured it was from a previous mafia game.

I know that I haven't 'outed' any mafia because I'm not in the Cosa Nostra (I learned that from reading the 'Godfather'). Because of my health, I read a lot, since I'm on disability. I've been feeling pretty good lately so I've been able to sit in my office and read, and post here.

In the context of the game, all I've done is try to get to know those who've been posting. Since not many of my fellow ACvillites were willing or able to talk with me, I googled various ACville themes. I also checked wiki to see if I could find anything about the mafia game. All I found were references to organized crime, interesting not helpful.

If I went and protested the lynch votes for me, it would only fan the flames of discontent. Fomenting more ire and possibly resulting in my unjustified lynching, either way, I started out with a bit more than a whimper, and I gave judgemax a headache.

So this chatty newb is off for dinner. L8r sk8r!

I am not sure I understand your distaste for the way some choose to state how their vote will fall. What does it matter if they state they will vote for the last to post or the next to last to post.Its not set in stone and normally wouldn't be put into play.

I can understand maybe not knowing the game started but a lot of these players post in the forums regularly. I didn't check for last activities but the non posters at the moment are

I have not seen Fish34 so they must be pretty new to the forum and Charlie has been a hit and miss poster lately but the others normally are pretty into the game.

Catfish was really into the games, but wasn't he going to be a low poster for a while. And I know John travels a lot, me may just eb away from the internet for a bit.

RB, I agree with Jensons. No sense giving the mafia a freebie.
