well it's time to redo my tank I lost both my oscars the past 8 months 1 to dropsey 1 i guess to depression , bought a clown knife my jag eventually killed it I'm down to my jag(12") jack dempsey(6") and 14" pleco, it's just not doing it for me and am open to suggestions total redo, substrate will remain sand is my only requirement:help::help::help::help::help:

i am a huge fan of small schooling fish.

congo tetras, cories.

i also really like blue rams. you could have several no problems in there.

and plecos

I have two 150s so I had the opportunity to do both - one large fish setup and one small fish setup. Large fish is one oscar, pair of gold severums, P. polleni, silver dollars, and pictus cats/4lined pims. Soon to be a few plecos as well. Smaller one is med. planted with gouramies, loaches, glass cats, and soon will have some cherry barbs, more loaches and some schools of R. espei and galaxies (if they breed anyway).

However, I would love to do a planted discus setup with a large school of rummynose and some cories as well. Well, there are a lot of different tanks I'd like to have...ah well maybe some day.
