I'm not quite sure about the doc protecting lynches...that seems to defeat the purpose of a majority lynch, the point of the game lol. I wasn't in the game but I do remember people mentioning that one of the problems with the first game was the doc protected the lynch victim...it seems like it would just get in the way of the town figuring out who people are, therefore the doc would become pointless.
To what extent can the boss change the message, the whole thing? I still don't see it as fair enough. It's going to become a HUGE guessing game, waiting for the messages and going out on a limb to choose if you trust it or not. Once the boss uses it against the citizens I would think that the whole thing would be completely useless as no one would really trust it anymore...maybe JMO though...the evil group is almost always been smaller. But they are hidden and not in the dark. If you do go with it you should for sure decide randomly but only have the newsflash occur a few times during the game, not every night...
