try a siamese algae eater. stay somewhat small (at least slender) and are aggressive. they will not be able to suck the africans slime coat and are too fast to be caught either

Chinese algae eaters, not siamese. And Darksoul has already said that his was decapitated overnight by africans.

1 albino socolofi and 2 male Johanni, and some kind of yellow (still can't figure out what it is).

Interesting. I wouldn't try it myself but there is as they say more than one way to skin a cat. How old are your Africans and what size tank ? (just curious as to your set-up is all)

Not sure on age, I've had them about a month now. They are in a 55 gallon. The Johanni is pretty large (3 inches or so)

But a month isn't exactly a long time and your fish are still young enough.

Yeah I don't think that's gonna work out medium term. But you have plenty of other tanks to shift the corydoras when necessary.

I will be keeping a close eye on them. Like I said, Some people have had them in there for years with no trouble and some will advise highly against it, not saying you fellows are wrong. I think it all comes down to weather or not the fish will deal with it. My 55 is heavily rock scaped with tons and i mean TONS of places for the cichlids/corys to hide. That might be one of the reason they don't bother them. I don't know. If they start to give the cories trouble I'll put them back into the 29g where they came from.
