This is very sad and why I carry legally, I'm at least taking them with me if the time comes. This guy and his son were killed even when being courteous.

I wouldn't call what the guy did being courteous. He was illegally blocking an intersection. It was more like he was trying fix his initial mistake.

Who hasn't accidentally been stopped blocking an intersection? It happens... trying to correct his mistake is more than alot of people would do and definitely doesn't warrant a death sentence.

I dont see this as the man (who got shot) fault, if you read the story...

Police said Tony Bologna was driving home Sunday with his two sons when he was forced to stop in an intersection, blocking the path of another car.

..keyword there, FORCED....This was not a mistake made by the driver..he was FORCED to stop at the intersection....So, i am unsure as to what this guy actually did wrong...

However, right or wrong, no matter how you approach or look at this incident, nobody deserves to be shot for it....

x2 Ayup. I personally don't care if he stopped at the intersection because he decided to take a private moment to contemplate his navel.

'Accidental' or not, blocking an intersection is illegal and typically caused by irresponsible driving. I never said it warranted a death sentence. This is a tragedy. But don't make the driver out to be a saint. No one "forced" him to stop in an intersection as the article claims. One would think that a responsible father with two children in his car would take more care in his driving. The real lesson here is that you can avoid being a victim of road rage by driving responsibly.

LOL....did you read the article H3D? or skim?? It states in the article that the driver was "FORCED" to stop.....lol....I dont call that irresponsible driving, i call that being out of your control...

Do you think I can't read?

It makes no mention of a police officer, construction crew, or anyone else forcing him to stop. Therefore it is more likely that he was tailgating the car in front of him, who was tailgating the car in front of him, and so on, when they all got "forced" to stop by a red light causing grid lock. I see this happen all the time.
