Ogre's 46g Bowfront Reef

AWESOME Ogre!! I love that piece in the 2nd pic!!!

OK, look on the right hand side of the rock and 1/3 of the way up. There is a greenish mass of tentacles. There are several additional tubes above this one. They look like thin grey lines.

Yes rb, it's between the two water streaks on the glass... sigh.

LMAO!!!!:perv:

Cool stuff, Ogre!!!!

Within 24 hours of having the rock in the tank...

We have found a 1/2" whelk, 2 living tube worms, the urchin and Lexie has heard clicking, so a pistol or mantis shrimp may be in there as well.

Nice update, Ogre!

Did my first water change as the ammonia was approaching 1 ppm. I hope to heck I know what I'm doing.

I think I'm going to get another 5 gallon bucket and figure out exactly the mass of salt to get it to 1.024. Then make up some ziplock bags of that salt mass. Heh, my shop will start looking like a crack lab. LOL

if sponges ever get exposed to air unfortunately they die, air bubbles interrupt the flow of food to the sponge and it ends up starving.

Mine were exposed briefly while moving them from box to tank and they are all doing great many months later...

I ended up leaving my whelks in without any problems. They stirred up sand for awhile and served as yummy food to the second shipment of CUC... (Oh, I got my LR from Richard too...this is why I'm posting).

When do you get the second shipment? You are going to fall out!!! So excited!
