red tail cats

So i was up at That Fish Place on Monday and was walking around. They had an indoor pond in the back corner of the store so I went walking over to take a look. There were several fish swimming around in there, including a full grown red tail cat. This is my first time seeing one of these in person, and man was it beautiful. Had to be about 3 feet and a good 8" or so wide at the face. Was just an amazing looking fish.

they had a few other fish but i was not sure what they were though. they did have about a 2' pleco too.

At the Chattanooga Tennessee Aquarium they had one that was 5 feet long. That's why I don't know why pet store sell these. They get why too big for most people. Just my opinion. But it is an awesome picture.

I thought they only got to about 3'. I couldnt imagine that another 2' long. my god.
