Can anyone offer an opinion if this is a good skimmer?

the fella at the store says it's 149$ (CAN). naturally he's sold out too (YAY!) :mad2: so i gotta wait a couple days. can't get lights either, yep you guessed it. sold out too! :wall:

this would be a for a 20g FOWLR, lightly stocked btw

thats what i figured. i can't believe i can't find the skimmer i want in a city of 800,000.

do you know of any canadian online outlets?

yeah thats what i wanted. can't find em. this one place said they stopped selling them long ago - he said they were garbage.

he mentioned some other ones but they were 3-400 dollars plus and i had to cut him off and tell him this is a 20g FOWLR tank. so i asked what do you have that will be decent enough for this tank, yet cheaper? he suggested an octopus for $70, said it will be ok as long as i have lots of live rock and lightly stocked. for me it seems the best choice and it's in my price range.

Might be a better solution than looking for it locally and then having to wait for them to get a supply in.
