ok so i have 6 corys, and 4 bolivian rams. the tank is done cycling, and i have 2 filters, aqua a/c 20, and a cascade. i have some hornwort, a bubble wall, and 2 snails. do have room for 1 betta with the big graceful lookin fins? are the betta even compatible with the bolivian rams? oh and btw, what is a good diet for my bolivian rams? i want them to look as healthy and colorful as possible, although they're kinda brownish right now cuz i just bought them yesterday at the lfs.

I doubt that. 6 cories and 4 bolivian rams in a 10 gallon is already pushing it/overstocking depending on water changes, adding a betta would not be a good idea. Also, bettas will pick fights with fish that have colorful or flowing fins such as rams, and they would not be a good mix.

i kinda wanted a fish that swims at the upper tank, because my fish now are all bottom to mid dwellers

You tank is already overstocked, rams are a active fish i'm not sure i would even keep one in a 10g. What sort of corys do you have? Most corys will out grow a 10g

I would reconsider your current stock, the rams will out-grow a 10gal tank as may the cory cats(depending on specie).

I wouldn't add any more fish to a 10 gallon tank. 4 bolivian rams and 6 cories is definitely pushing a 10 gallon's limits. I would even go as far as to say its overstocked, since 4 3in-4in fish in a 10 gallon is a lot. But if you really want something, get rid of a the rams and add some minnows. Rosy reds or rummynose might work...

Pygmy corys? Excellent choice, what kind of filters are you running? Lots of water changes/filtration will definitely help. The issue however is simply that rams get to be 3-4in long and that doesn't leave them with alot of room to swim. If you decide to get a larger tank for the rams, then definitely add a betta to your tank.
