I know Rex Grigg sales them, he is a one man business person I know it's hard work. It takes him a while to get back to you. I think he's like on vacation at the moment... I ordered some of his stuff and he hasn't contacted me yet heh. Btw, wanted to ask you plant folks...is dosing dry(directly into the aquarium) equivalent to dosing water diluted dry fert mix?

Dosing dry trace 10ml looks like a lot for a 60 gallon...lol looks like I'll be running out of trace sooner or later. I am using the esti. index at the moment.

Anyhoo any other sources/website links to dry ferts besides Rex??

dosing dry and a premix solution is the same thing. I would just think that the premixed solution in say a 500ml water bottle would be easier to dose than constantly having to measure out a teaspoon/tablespoon of this or that.

milliliters is a measure for liquid not dry. So if anything its mix so and so in 500mls of water and out of that dose 10mls daily/every other day/once a week

Oh thanks BK. :) Well I'll be darned... That source has the same stuff Rex has! GAH LOL I have been on hold for like 2 weeks with Rex -_-. He sells a a little bit cheaper... meh haha. I have no choice but to wait on him ¬_¬

NF:

Since we last visited I have changed vendors for the reasons which you previously posted.

These folks have responded very quickly twice for me.

I have a local hydroponics store that sells the stuff for a reasonable price. Plus I can buy small amounts at a time (easier for me to store).

Ah, this is why he is so late...

Okay on second thought, I might change my mind about him late and tardy lol. Well I guess i have no choice but to wait it on. I'll bet he will have a lot of emails waiting to tick him off but then good business

Rex operates more as a side business, or as a "hobby" business, so therefore it can take some time for shipments to go out.

Alan over at aquariumfertilizer.com typically ships the next day, depending on when the order is placed. His price on one or two things *might* be $1 more, but typically it's the same price. And you don't have to do the funny math and worry about if you got it wrong. Aquariumfertilizer.com allows you to pay directly through the website with no emails.

I think Rex typically bags his stuff up on an order by order basis, so from order to ship can take a little time.

So, clearly I vote for aquariumfertilizer.com. This is for two reasons, 1)Alan's our treasurer in SFBAAPS and 2)I'm impatient and want my stuff ASAP after I order it.
