my tank, just starting

this is my 90 gallon tank , just a begginer and learning about plants and fisheys, awaiting my new lighting unit from AH, hopefully in the next week or so

those tanks are so cool! I feel kinds stupid for asking this but what is the stuff on the floor of the aquaria that makes everyones tanks look so cool? I would like to be able to upgrade my 2 tanks 10 and 20 gallon to a 55 or so and I want it to look as cool as the aquaria I see on here!:worthy:

What do you mean? like the substrate? If so- most people use naturally colored gravel or sand, or a planting substrate like eco-complete or flourite. :)

i was talking about those plants that are on the bottom covering the gravel or sand.. makes them look so natural
