Updated Pics - 50/50 fake/real plants

Looks very nice! I think the new plants make a huge difference and you have done a nice job transitioning. The angles and other fish are lovely as well.

Thanks for all the compliments :) Makes me feel a little better about my aquascaping!!

The only fake plants left are the tallest one to the left, 2 tall ones and a short one in the middle and a tall one all the way to the right. Since putting the first crypt in I have already seen new leaves growing :-D Hopefully thats a good sign, and also another good sign is that I think along with the angels pairing up I think some of my peppered corys are starting to get a little frisky.

Nice looking tank, great angels!

That looks SO nice :grinyes:

looks great!! How are the rummy's for schoolers?

The rummy's are great schoolers, but they are proving to be very sensitive. I originally purchased 10 of them, over about a week 6 died of unknown causes (they had no outward symptoms, every day 1 would just die).

That left me with 4 that were doing great, last week I decided it was time to up the school (had planned to wait until I moved house, but that may be delayed so went ahead and got them now) and so I bought another 8. After putting them in the tank I discovered they had ich, so far I have lost another 5 (one of them to an angel bite, I think the angel knew the tetra was sick, as they usually just ignore the tetras) and so now I am left with 7 who stick together and zoom all over the tank.

They look great zipping around, I think I have 4 from the original batch and 3 from the new batch, there noses are turning to a real dark red and all the ich spots are dissapearing. Hopefully these 7 will make it as I am going to find it hard to buy another batch only to face losing half again.

Great fish though, they add a great contrast to the angels in the tank.

Update pics and other tanks

Just some updated pics, the 55G looks a bit of a mess as I recently moved house (and will be moving again soon) so will probably completely change the aquascape once I move (thinking of changing substrate as well). There are 2 full tank shots, one when I first put in all the real plants, and one as of today.

Also some pictures of my sons betta tank and the angel breeding tank.
