both blue pearls and dark greens are available now. The dark greens are a caridina and so they could be housed with cherries. The blue pearls are a neocaridina so its not advised to house them with cherry shrimp.

For bridgesii, looks like ALOT of purples, a few jades, some green striped, magenta striped, and hard to say what else...a good mix heavy on the dark purple striped.

And sounds great Snoopy :)

i wouldn't put more than 1, you would be amazed at how adept they are at eating algae. Do you have another tank you could move it to just in case the bettas want some escargot? I really think it would be ok, but you should always have a back up plan especially if you know your fish is agressive.

I always have a back up plan. :headbang2:

I could put it in with either of my 10g shrimp tanks. I could put it in 1 of the 3 20g longs once they are cycled. I could buy another tank (if the wife permits).

However, buying only one, then paying shipping is not what I would like to do right now :(. I already purchased equipment to start cycling the 20g longs, and for one of the tanks I was going to get some snowball shrimp from you. I'll probably buy the snail then.

I notice you had a special for the snowballs in another thread. How long will that be going? Will you still be having that great price in 1-2 months (estimated cycling time)?

I certainly should. I absolutely understand the shipping issue, lol. Its the reason I started carrying plants as well, to try and help offset the costs of shipping. I can hold some snowballs for you if you like.

Edit: If you have established tanks, why not seed your new tank with established media/sponge? I saw your tanks in the photo section, they look lovely :)

Thanks.

Actually, to speed up the cycling process, I have some Fluval BioMax in my Eclipse 6 setup, which is well established. Since that tank is heavily planted, I didn't see the need to have the carbon filter in the Eclipse, so I replaced it with the BioMax. I will be moving some of that into the filters for the 20g longs when I begin cycling. That should speed up the process, but how much, I'm not sure of.

If possible, please hold 10 of the snowball shrimp for me. I also will be getting one of those olives from you, too. This is a definite purchase.

On another note, do you offer pick up for a lower price? Me and the family are going to my wife's friend's house in New Jersey for Thanksgiving. Depending on where you are in PA, we may be passing close by. If we could get a lower price, I may buy some blue pearls from you as well, if you have some ready by then.

I am in York, PA...zip code 17347, not sure that I am near NJ anywhere. I am about 1 1/2 hours or so west from Philadelphia. Pick-up is always fine :)

With the low bioload of shrimp, and being that your tanks are planted, its very likely you would experience virtually no cycle just by transferring media and stocking with a low number of shrimp (like 10-20). I will have them ready whenever you want them :)
