Ha ha.... that page is from August... this thread is like that rabbit.... still going!

thanks Q now only if my fish/shrimps could reproduce as fast as rabbits it would be swell.. My plants are getting into the rabbit business and I likey lol
I like to keep the info about a tank in one thread so person can see it from start to current. But noticed that many start paying less attention to threads with numerous pages.

Have you checked what those granite pieces do to your ph BK? Our granite raises ph as it breaks down!! Just a thought. Of course I am in the northeast, the granite might be different.
Looking good so far. Just some other thoughts, you need a similar wood setup on the right to balance it. I feel like the tallest bushy plant on the right should go, back-left, in the corner behind the wood.

Thanks Dirty and Anthony

Thanks prolude
The stones did nothing to the ph, i had it in other tanks before and it was pretty stable. And either way my ph drops pretty fast with addition of co2 (soft water here in NYC) so if it did bring it up wouldve been good 2.
Im going to leave the large wood mass just on the left. Just will work around it on balancing it out with the center/right side of the tank. Though i still have one more largish branch of manzanita, so will see maybe will throw it in there.. maybe not. As far as moving the bushy plant from right to the back left, im actually looking for 2 more of the same plant so once i get it i will be placing it in the correct spots.

thanks again :)

Ignore the I am in the northeast part. Forgot who I was talking to!!lol
I didn't actually mean to move the wood I meant make another like it for the other side. Of course thats what I would do so yeah with more plants grown up your idea works too.
I have come to understand that the ph change from substrate is different from ph change because of co2. The granite here in VT will raise my ph from 7.2 to 7.8 pretty quickly so I go without it. Looking good so far either way buddy!!
