The rules say the person has a choice whether or not to open the present. I really don't think that the person will risk switching sides to gain an extra vote, especially if they are evil. If they are innocent and secretly wish to be evil then they might, but let's hope not. I don't see why you cannot tell us their name and establish credibility for yourself in case Rudolph doesn't buy your story. Also if they deny getting the present then u will know they are evil, though some may not believe you then. For myself, in absence of other information I will assume u are telling the truth.

It says in the rules that if Blitzen sends the coal to an evil then he joins them. I think Blitzen needs to be pretty sure he's sending the present to an innocent.

I agree with this, but with caution. Regardless of who Blitzen hits, the town is going to be in the same boat...down an innocent. While Blitzen hitting scum might yield some good info, it then puts Blitzen with the evils with not much of a scum trail. For this reason, hitting an innocent would probably be best.

Blitzen needs to be careful, though, as obviously it would be more desirable to hit a seeming 'less than helpful' townie, rather than one who is helping....and sometimes it's hard to tell the less than helpful townies from scum.

6. Mad- He has been a lower poster and seems to be just jab and run style in this game. Not a very good thing for the town.

Here's the thing, catfish, if you read through Day 2 you'll likely see that I was pretty involved in shining the spotlight on noodles' scummy activities. As noodles was non-communicating scum, I understand that doesn't clear me and that some will have doubts. For you to say that my actions have been 'not a very good thing for the town' is pretty funny, seeing that I have a better proven record to date than you do. Wouldn't you say?

Plant, can you confirm that received a present? I realize that saying so won't do anything for your status, but it will lend some credibility to cat's claim. Granted, there's always the chance that you're both scum, but with 2 communicating innocents in play, I don't see a logical reason for 2 scum to jeopardize themselves by claiming falsely at this point.

Ok here we see that we Have 8 people who are unknown directly to me. Now we take away the fact that 1 is known to me that I did not list for safe keeping. Now as we see we have 3 evils and 3 Pr innocents. We also have te loose cannon Blitzen who depending on which way they wish to fall the town is up or down. This leaves 1 floating innocent. Now looking at the past days Like I said Mad I feel your on the list, where you lay exactly is low right now and I feel you may be the fence jumper.

Sorry Cat. If u truly are a communicating innocent then I think u better check w/RB again. I have no new pm's besides the one that was sent to me by RB giving me my role. Now that I think of it, you said something earlier about thinking Dawg and myself might be on the communicating team. Now why would you do that if you yourself are on that team???

If there is a set-up it is Cat that is doing the set-up. Otherwise why would he wait and wait and stall w/telling us who he supposedly sent the present to. Then when I point out all the reasons he should he decides to stick it to me. If it's not some misunderstanding between Cat and RB then Cat is an evil elf or the Grinch himself.

I agree Blitzen should try and pick someone who is most likely innocent and not very active.
