My luck, I'd have gotten that one "not quite right" piece of wood with a microsplit down the grain of a supporting piece, or have CREATED that tiny split with a poorly placed nail, and wind up with an indoor swimming pool. :eek3:

Thanks BK - really getting anxious here. Leaving now to go pick up the tank. Hopefully I will be able to sand the stand and canopy out over the weekend. A very, very busy time of year for our business.

We are all snowed in out here (Portland, Salem, etc). We tried to go up and get the tank Sunday - the LFS was closed due to the snow and ice.

I have the stand and canopy (furniture) all trimmed out and sanded - ready for stain. I first wanted to get a trial fit with the tank to see if we needed to add any additional trim before starting the finishing process. More snow on the way ...

Coy didn't you get snow down at sea-level? You must be shoveling every hour. Southern AZ got a light dusting at higher elevations already and its not even (technically) winter yet.... gonna be a long cold winter.
