Free dead fish

I gave some of my tetras suits made of Tetramin.
Start them off from a young age, all they know is "kill".
Had to put a few down. Got too aggressive. I needed stitches.

isnt this REALLY why you should always quarantine new fish? in case they are really super ninja assassin guppy fry who will decimate your tank?

To answer your question.

Oh yes Guppy Fry are deadly. Guppy Fry are nastier than a lot of the large Cichlids. Just in case I am misconstrued the two preceding sentences are meant to be funny. I would imagine, in their own world of minute critters that Guppys are formidable, but Fry(?) give me a break. The LFS employee does not have too firm a grasp on reality. Very small livebearer Fry do not threaten Platies. There is probably no reason to disbelieve that the fry are dead but not for any reasons that you can be blamed for. The Platy deaths are a good indication that all was not right in that tank.
