On nights 2, 4, and 6 the accomplices may choose to investigate a townsperson and relay the information to the Madman. Once both the accomplices are lynched, the madman will only have a 50% chance of getting a successful murder each night. The “chosen” accomplice will show as innocent in any investigation.


I copied the above from the rules as I felt it was worth reiterating. The accomplices get an invest tonite so the madman will have much more info after they get their results. :nilly: But now that I read it over again it does not state if they get one combined invest or one each???

(Thank goodness I have a lame week at work! I love my job! LOL)
 
Well I must say this game has taken a turn for the worse.

We lost a couple power roles, and lost some innocnents which would allow us to outnumber the madman.

Now down to fewer people I am having different thoughts about everyone

Opi: Seems to be playing like a pro for his first game, natural? I don't think so, he may just be a good judge of character. But the comment of his really stuck out. How people like noodles, who may because of how much they are trying Not to hang back. But to contribute alot to the town so they won't be of intrest. The first person that came to my mind then was Opi. He has contributed alot. Perhaps he could be hiding something? He is #3 for me

Coler: Very odd playing strategy. Although he is in paris, I don't feel he is doing as much as he could. I cannot see someone going out every minute of every day. He is #2

Rb: Not really hanging back, but not really giving it his all too. How he communicated with ogre is making me more nervous than anything else. Sounds like an alliance, or possibly a partnership between a madman and an accomplis. Nothing is for certain yet. But with Opi previous points against RB, and the alliiance that is amking me uneasy. This is my best pick. #1
 
Upon further thought, and the playing out of possible scenarios in my head, my suspicions are beginning to change....

I think the evidence is compounding, in my mind, against Lucky. Perhaps his constant concern over the rules is to make sure he gets it right, not just normal confusion. He is a bit nervous and wants to make certain he doesn't miss nightfall. He seemed anxious about nightfall, and disappointed it wasn't every evening. I also think hints have been dropped by the detective that point toward Lucky. Lucky sounds like a new player...given all the rule questions...so how would he be able to tell that I was playing "well"? I think he is just basing this off of other people's comments and he feels threatened by me. Perhaps I had hit on something in my previous analysis, and he was trying to cover for someone. Given that information, and toss in his top suspects...he is looking very suspicious to me. I definitely think he is at least an accomplice.

Luck is now my #1 suspect, followed by Coler and then maybe Rich (but I am really unsure of that now). I'd prefer to vote Lucky, but if it seems more beneficial to vote Coler, I will. Unless I am persuaded otherwise.

(PS...Lucky, I am a girl :p)
 
Hee Hee. Loving some of this...I'm still pretty happy with my vote on Ogre...in some ways the only thing that makes me doubt it is his vote for me which is a truly scummy type of vote...and Ogre must know that...oh well.

Now that I am happily voting Ogre...anyone notice who Ogre voted for on night 1 ? Best place for a scums vote when a couple of innocents are up for the jump ? On another scumbag. Check out Rich's night one vote as well.

And look who Opi has listed as a suspect but now feels less sure of...that would be rich also.

There is more - I'm back from paris now and should manage a couple posts this evening. How long to nightfall in hours btw ?
 
As of right now there are 6 hours until nightfall.

So, information from night 1 :

- its probably solid to say that the people with a couple votes are likely to be innocent (yes that would exonerate me meh). Reason being that there was no significant late swaps which looked like scum rescuing each other.
- So I would proceed on the basis that Eddie, and me (of course meh) are innocent. We lose ice as a known innocent.

- I tend to think the people voting for ice and for me are also likely to be innocent. On night one, scumbags try and bury their votes (in fact on any night they like to do that but it gets harder as the game goes on). This takes Eddie, Cat, RB and lucky out of the loop for me.
- I would go so far as to put the people voting Eddie innocent too...of course ice was in fact innocent...and I will also therefore remove Noodles from the equation.

I'm therefore left with Ogre, Rich, Opi, Dawg and LG as suspects. Ogre voted for Rich, Rich voted for Ogre - classic. There is more on Ogre in particular - I will try go dig it out.

Opi...is more of a feeling based on post content, and also because of some weak posturing on Rich.
 
Ahem...of course, lol the Opi, Rich Ogre triangle is of course made up of Rich voting for Opi, and Ogre voting for Rich...not Rich voting for Ogre, in other words as per quoted vote list from night one.
