Fish that do not need filters

having a fish without a filter, any fish, is like never flushing your own toilet and trying to live...

(and you live in the bathroom ;))

The only ONLY possibility would be a tank all natural. HEAVILY Planted with nearly daily water changes. And no bowls

I know of at least one very experienced, and diligent, and expert fish lover & keeper that keeps unfiltered set-ups, with no ill effects...

I have successfully kept a filterless heavily planted 60 gallon tank that was lightly stocked and only did minimal maintenance, 50% WC every 2 weeks.

Bear in mind that the 60 gallon was literally STUFFED with plants and had powerheads and a heater.

Even though this thread is about 2 years old, I would have to agree with everyone, no fish should be in an unfiltered, unheated bowl.

i have a 5" albino rtc in a 38 and i thinks the tanks to small...
