Mafia 46: In the Dark

I still am feeling no strong "mafia" vibe off of anyone...they are doing a decent job, imo, of blending in. However, I do have a few hunches.

Noodles & Ogre- There style of play seems no different then last game. On two separate occasions, I consider them both to be Mafia and I was wrong. So, I am not prepared to call either of them out just yet. Besides, if one of them IS Mafia...the other one is probably not. So, that's only 1 of the potential 3 people.

MC- My opinion hasn't changed all that much about MC since last round. I still think he's a suspect, but just like I think everyone is. Nothing stands out. I remind you my vote for MC last round was random.

Rich- I can't really explain why, but I am getting a Mafia-vibe from Rich. He seems to be playing middle of the road, cautious...he's posting enough and saying enough not to attract attention, but he doesn't seem to be going out on any limbs. Seems like he is blending well. However, I have no actual evidence of this. Just a feeling.

Dawg- Towards the beginning of this round, I was getting the same kind of feeling from Dawg. But recently, he's become a bit defensive and evidence against him seems to be growing. I agree with all of C-Notes statements about him. I also think his vote for C-Note is suspicious...perhaps C-Note is proving to useful for the town. C-Note is an easy target as well, lots of posts means more "ammo"...more stuff to pull apart. But, his evidence for C-Note is weak at best, and people have already pointed out the inconsistancies in his voting. Despite his defense of them, I am leaning towards Dawg as Mafia.

DD- I'm really not getting much. She seems pretty tough to read, and I can't really say one way or another.

Lucky- Lucky seems more aggressive in his play style than last time, which draws a red flag. But, he is new like I am...so perhaps he is just more comfortable with the game this time? He posts are kind of random and all over the place. He's on my list...but I'm not too concerned about him just yet.

Cj- Mmm....I don't really think I have any thoughts about him just yet.

JL- For reasons I have already explained in a previous post, I am uncomfortable with his sarcastic "you caught me" post. He seemed to be trying to play it cool. He's definitely one of my top suspects.

C-Note- I have seen no further evidence come from C-Note (other than my original mention of the innocent shout). He seems to be grilling everyone equally- and to me that is a sign that he is aggressively trying to help the town. He's the only person I am leaning towards innocent, right now...

Mael- I wasn't very suspicious of Mael before...but his playing style seems to have changed. He seems a bit less vocal and aggressive now. It makes me wonder if perhaps he was a recruit. However, I don't really have much evidence other than that...

I tend to think dawg is defending himself and not looking else where to help the team.

Noodles still worries me but she has not said much today to strengthen or lessens my ideas about her. I wonder if she will pull the vote off of Ogre?

Great... my new number two suspect is considering voting my number one suspect. One potential mafia also followed me onto my top mafia pick (that would be LadyG).

And yes, this will be heavily considered to be backbpedaling, but I can't help it. Two of my top suspects for mafia are actively considering voting for my top suspect for mafia. That's not good.

Rich has me gravely concerned right now. To a point, I'm nervous about Dawg as well. But not as much as Rich.

I had a really crazy day at work so was not able to "play on the clock" LOL

I have no intention of pulling my vote off of Ogre at this point, and will not do so unless I see something that screams mafia before nightfall. If Ogre is so convinced he knows my role then I am compelled to believe he is the opposite, thus he must go. I have stated my case repeatedly on Ogre and do not feel I need to again.

Dawg is gaining lots of attention; definitely could be mafia. the past few games I have played with him I have been dead wrong each time. :huh:

C-note seems to kicking lots of bushes, especially dawg's right now. Is this a true attempt to find mafia or a smoke screen to cover his own rear?

Rich is making me very uneasy. Seems like to play the middle of the road and not make too many waves - definite blending....will certainly watch closely....

JL - that whole exchange w/ CJ befroe last nightfall was too weird, like a communiction slip up; and then the sarcastic response when I called him on; covering? very possible.

Lucky - :huh: has not been around too much but I do not feel him as threat - at this point; same w/ the rest of the list - don't really have feeling one way or the other on them....of course DD & LG are vets and need to be watched closely! LOL

I may not be able to get back on until after nightfall. All depends on the small-fry.

If I don't make it... here's who I think are most likely mafia at this point.

Noods - though the possibility has decreased, but only slightly.
Rich - Jumped way up on the patented mafia-o-meter
Dawg/LadyG - something ain't right with these two. I am almost more concerned about LadyG's vote on Noods than I am on anything else. If Rich votes for noods too, then I don't know what I'll do.
 
Just wanted to point out about just because I was the first to vote lady G, I had no intention of starting a train, because I am noticing more people strike intrest with her.

I know much to everyone's suspicion, I wont be on much. My computer has been confiscated due to messy fish room (my room) should get it back tommorrow. So now my only options are the family crap computer and my ipod touch.

My vote has been stated, but wont be on for nightfall.

And where is your vote Rich. And while we're at it, who do you actually think is mafia, there being three now, as opposed to why you apparently have nobody as mafia.

I am a heartbeat away from pulling my just cast vote on dawg and voting you.

And now I think about the quote from Rich which is in my last post and I really do see Rich as a suspect. My preferred vote is dawg or rich. I want to here them talk about each other.
