i decided to get these guys out of the tank i made from a water jug, and into a real tank. especially since one is berried :dance:

im not sure if i should add more of anything or take any other precautions, but for now i just like having the option of watching it and my tv at the same time :D

they really like their rock, i found in the bay and thought it would be cool. it was covered in brittle stars and other weird critters. i cured it for a few months and it still has some cool red macroalgae on

I followed you to this posting from your piggy posting (not a stalker-:evil_lol:) and I think this is really neat too! It must be cool to just walk out and pick up something like this and make a tank out of it!! Well done! The shrimps look very happy!!!
 
it increases the climbing area of tha tank, also my shrimp like to bounce. i took it out now, im gunna experiment with tonga LR now

i made that big fat prefilter out of plastic porch screen, its the most efficient iv ever used. not for benificial bacteria that is, just to keep baby shrimps safe.

has anyone else breed these, the berried one has been so for about three weeks and the eggs are still tiny
 
the eggs will be tiny even right when they hatch... baby shrimp are almost invisible so immagine how small the eggs are
