I'm not as concerned for her as I am for the people in her situation who don't have dental insurance at all, and who can't even afford superglue.
It's really very sad. 
I don't understand why dental problems aren't covered by health insurance anyway.
Studies have shown that dental problems have a definite impact on general health. It is now understood that there is a link between poor dental condition and heart disease.
Infections; pulpitis; periodontal disease; all have a negative impact on health in general.
One can be seriously ill from an infected tooth.
It's too bad. People in her position, young and old, just have to have their teeth pulled when they have a serious problem because they don't have the discretionary dollars to spend on their teeth.
She's in a catch 22 with what little coverage she has. It makes her ineligible for more help that she could receive, and she has just enough to pay to get them pulled out, but nothing more. Not even dentures. Then she'll be walking around with nothing but gums.
It's sad.
