Scientific name of Whisker shrimp?

Just wondering. The chain stores here have been selling this longarm for the longest time..

I already know it's a macro, I was looking for a name down to the species level.

Whisker shrimp is a very generic name...would need more info / pix to be as specific as you require i would expect...

Is it really just an umbrella term of sorts? ..I thought it was a specific shrimp.

Yes, its a generic umbrella term for many macro species...
