well, I leave for a few seconds, the next thing I know, my sister put a handful of fish food into my aquarium. :swear::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear: CLEAN IT UP
I said. yet, she just leaves it there and says its fine. Two days later after I've told her to clean it up at least a dozen times a day, she just sits there and says its fine.

Look at these?

Vacuum all the food leftovers, do daily water changes, check your water parameters daily, get a tank lid and store your fishfoods out of your sister's reach.

I agree keeping fish food out of her reach will help solve from the future hopefully. But in all honesty why wait for her to do it. You are really just making more work for yourself. I know that it sucks to have to clean the mess but do yourself and your tank a favor and get it done. If she was going to clean it you wouldn't have had to ask for 2 days.
GL I hope it all works out

How old is she?

I'm sorry, but I think this line refers more to the person who knew it should be taken care of but didn't do anything.

It's maddening to have someone mess with your tank, but if you can fix it quickly and easily and choose not to, well....

Ditto. You can't depend one someone who doesn't understand why it's not "okay" to clean it up. It's your fish tank, so it's your responsibility to clean up any problems, regardless of whose fault it was. Then you should explain, calmly and reasonably, why that was bad.

I agree with the above. Sorry, but YOUR tank is YOUR responsibility.
