Something is seriously wrong with my plants..

I wonder if the plants need time to adapt to the changes?
but then again it's been 2 months?
they appeared to be doing so well ..then a changed in the set up.

For me...no GH booster here.

Only occupants in this tank are few yellow shrimps. Not sure how to test for TDS. Never have before.

Could it be that this particular plant is much more sensitive than all others being that they grow like wildfire.

Fast growing plants are likely to show nutrient deficiencies earlier. They're not sensitive per say, they just need food because they grow quickly.

Calcium and magnesium are nutrients just like the other stuff. In lower light settings your water source may have enough of them that you do not need to add anymore. In high light setups you're going to burn through them more quickly so it is something to check on if all other nutrient levels are accounted for.

Well...I can say one thing....my Belem is doing the exact same thing. 3+wpg, PMDD pre-mix (haven't switched this tank over to EI yet), Co2 and Phosphates.

All other plants in the tank are thriving beautifully.

If you are having the same type of problems, I think it must be tied into something we both have going on with our tanks, but what could it be?

Immediately my thoughts go to changes in water hardness.

Also, what is the plant in the first pic? I saw some at a LFS the other day and it was amazing.

Ludwigia glandulosa

Strange thing is that the 2 plants next to it are doing ok, but the one next to them are shriveled almost like it was left out in the dry sun and are drying out..?

I still say test your TDS. My guess would be they are elevated. Either that, or maybe you're building up nitrate, but I lean towards TDS.

My nutrient level are always in the perfect range for what I'm dosing and for the target range the last 4 times I check. I have checked right after dosing, end of dosing, tap water and a month later after dosing schedule.

KH:
Tank water = 3
Tap water = 2
GH:
Tank water = 7
Tap water = 7
Hard to tell what shade of green that I'm supose to be looking for..
PH:
Tank water = 6.4
Tap water = 7.4

Could it be a PH shock to the plants when doing a 50% water change?

Maybe some plants don't like being dosed extra Iron from what is already in the CSM+B ?

Are you using a gh booster or otherwise adding calcium or magnesium?

Nope, unless there is something added in the CSM+B ?

What do I need to do to check this?
