also to the OP : 'moderator abuse' as a title for this thread ? Personally I think you've gone a little heavy there, but that's my subjective view. Nothing wrong with discussing the ins and outs of an issue like this but I don't think we're seeing abuse on the site; at least I have not come across it. That's my subjective view of course but I will say as a fact that if I thought there was a problem with abusive staff conduct I wouldn't be on staff.

I think the thread title is quite good. He set out to abuse the moderators for a perceived slight.

And just as an aside, I just edited the above moderator's post. He said more than what I quoted.

As well as moderation when I said pissy, and was told to take it elsewhere.. meaning to another forum.

Mods are evilllllllllllll. Especially the one who dances a lot with celine dion.

good to see SOMEONE has the guts to call it out.

Prediction: I'm surprised this thread wasnt locked and/or deleted on the spot.. that would have been the norm. It'll happen sooner or later.. mark my words.

I have no problem with the mods' methods here. Sometimes I think one moderator or the other is a bit heavy-handed, but this forum is private property: the owner sets the rules and the moderators are acting as his or her agents*. If one doesn't like it, one can go elsewhere or start one's own forum. The rules here are clear to me, so, no problem.

*(Just who does own AC, anyway?)

On a side note. I had a major beef with the mods a couple months back. I was outta line. They were outta line. But more me because I took it much further than I should. I got a ban. Deserved it. And got to come back a few months later and apologize for being a major jerk and making their job harder. Now that is all behind us and it has been all good since.

If you do not like what they do here leave. Its that simple. They are here to keep the forums family friendly and a good place for all us to visit. Why do we have to make it so hard for them? I know I try my best to keep it civil. Heck I even remind people to in posts I see that are offensive. Just keep it civil and we can have a heck of a community here.
