What to do with an empty 10 gallon tank?

I have a ten gallon aquarium sitting around and I would like to try something besides fish for change. What could I keep in a tank this size? I am open to all suggestions so fire away! :thm:
(except spiders and snakes! *wasn't that a song? LOL* I do not like spiders and hubby hates snakes)

You'll probably get lots of votes for shrimp and/or snails. I kept a green anole (lizard) as a kid and I think it was pretty cool and easy to take care of. They don't get very big, so I would think they'd be happy in a 10 gallon.

I have shrimp snails in my fish tanks; I am looking for something along the lines of a vivarium with toad/frog or lizard/salamander. I have been surfing the web but still not sure what would do well in a 10.....fire salamanders and FBTs look really cool. Love crested geckos but a 10 is too small for them. where's vicious fish when you need him?! LOL

Can I keep 2 in a 10 gallon? One of the LFS around here usually has some on hand.....

You could possibly do a leopard gecko.

Just looked up leopard geckos...they are cute! so many options, not enough tanks! LOL

Yeah, I worked with leopard geckos at a zoo. They are really cute. Very relaxed and calm.

The Panther and Dune geckos are cute too.......I will have to see what I can find locally and go from there.........
