these guys are pretty prolific so watch out you'll start to see more and more. Don't worry you dont have Double Vision they do it themselves.
 
Thanks guys! :) I read a bit on guppies.... seems they are easy to tweak as far as coloring and finnage... not "easy" as in simple but a good fish to play around with for those purposes. ooh.... this may be an addiction. :D
 
Those guppies you bought as feeders were almost certainly from someone else's overstocked tank, given to the lfs to get rid of them.

You could always cull out and rehome your females, and do a male only display tank.

This struck me as sooo funny b/c it's exactly what I was thinking & just the way I remember it!!

Just as soon as I was HAPPY for the first 5 or 6, the other 35 came on almost no time flat from other females & then in short order the female that gave me the first ones did it again! AND THEN I WAS LIKE...:help:

:lol: Sure, that's what you say now. Just give 'em some time though. See how much you like them when there's dozens of them, you have pregnant females about to drop dozens more, and you're sick and tired of dropping them off at the lfs just to get rid of the excess...
 
0_o .... .... ya'll are scaring me. lol!

Their in a small tank too... so it'll get crowded pretty quick. I want to keep pretty ones... How long does it take for guppy fry to show their coloring?
