danio.com has a picture of a baby CPD at 10 days old. Doesn't look exactly the same, wouldn't expect it to- the picture on said website LOOKED a younger less developed fish.

... but the colour is definately the same to your fry. It could be a Danio of sorts- certainly your fry has a danio shape to it.

I'd suspect a rainbow fish egg had been on a plant, I got 2 praecox that way.

I don't think it's a livebearer at all, too slender in the body and its eyes are too small. Baby livebearers' eyes normally take up all the space on their heads. There's no telling what it could be at this point, but care for it well so we'll all know what it is when it's a little older!

First thing that came to my mind from that picture was a LM Bass fry I dont know why..but you might be right, It looks a lot like a Danio fry.

If it definately isn't a platy then I gotta figure out what is in my tank... cuz I have one that looks nearly identical in shape (but orange)... and i know it isn't a cory, know it isn't a gourami or a krib and, other than platys and one molly that's all i got in there... hmmmm. The mystery continues....
