Mafia #53.5 Rock the Vote

Another thing that seemed odd. Here luv implies that Jm post w/o a vote was intentional and possibly suspicious it seems, yet luv was the one to post right after Jm thus doubling there vote. IMO, yes it could very well be intentional but for a different reason. Try to follow me:

Two mafia could plan before they post for the day to post right after each other with the first "forgetting" a vote. Therefore one of the teammates vote is counted twice. This allows them to put another vote on an innocent. Instead of both people voting for the same person they can do the same without leaving any connections between them.

I think its farfetched for two teammates to plan this right away. But I think anyone who forgets a vote in their first post AFTER the first night should be a suspect.

Thought of something else. We have a communicating innocent team this time... the detective and cops can talk to each other. So the good guys could set this up as well the mafia. Even if it looks suspicious or staged, we wouldn't know (by this alone) whether it's good or bad.

There is some connection at least.. we're all going to look at both Luv and JM closer now than we would have otherwise. They're connected in a way at least for this day whether that was intended or not.

So rocker....

I suppose that if the det found a scumbag they could do it but I think they would rather vote separately just to be safe. I see what you mean though, its kind of a gray area. :irked:

it's a good point... but I am not sure if it is a well played out plan or if it's simply because it's a new rule and it was done by sheer mistake... I mean, not to discredit anyone but I would think people that were more "veteran" of the game might have been able to conjure this type of strategy out... but Jm and Bugz... I don't know... but then again, that could be a strategy as well... hmmmm I guess I am not so confident in the thought...

Not exactly sure why the innocent team would need or want to let 1`person on the team have double the votes. Seems though it would be a better choice to have 2 separate votes they can place in other areas if needed. Even if it were an option I doubt it would be used on Day 1.

What really bothers me though is you pointing out a possible communicating innocent team.

I vote to lynch Kash.
Sorry had to do it.
As it looks, this isn't like the game last time? Only one mafia team this time instead of two?

Since Jm didn't vote do I getta vote for him?? If so, I vote to lynch Kash again.

I know it will probably get me into hot water for doing that, but thems the rules. Actually, it makes me wonder if it wasn't intentional.

Strange comment?!? Do you guys not remember me being totally set up by FD and JL? I am having that feeling all over again. Seems almost like JM and Zsand were lying in wait for someone to pick up on it , so they could jump all over them. Hmm...

Okay, maybe I am being melodramatic again, but is anyone seeing what I am seeing?JM doesn't post a vote. I called him on it and then two seconds later both JM and Zsand jump on me and vote saying that that was suspicious.Does that not look weird to anyone else but me??

Luvbugz, since you're carrying two votes instead of one we're all going to watch closely what you do with them. You didn't give a reason for voting me... I didn't question it either since it was placed so early on Day 1. But now that it counts twice, I'd like to know if you intend to leave it on me. And if not... who are you going to vote against next?

I ask this because your posting shows some pretty strong reactions... (overreactions).

I agree with DD here... but if it's coordinated (which I don't think this really is), then it wouldn't be up to just Luv and JM to work this out between each other. With 30+ players this time, the mafia size (at 25%) would be 6 players. Someone else in that grouping very likely would be a veteran player who could've figured this angle out even before we started. So.... that team would just decide who's least likely to be viewed as someone who would have thought of doing it.
