I already responded to the first part, but then there is the rest of the post. This part - "All I know is that the interactions between those three have been quite distracting and I'm pretty much ignoring it for now."

Then all three of us are on your suspect list. Did Zaffy turn you?

I voiced my suspicions of both Kashta and Coler (hello, I'm voting for him) earlier so your interactions with them today are not going to automatically drop them off my suspect list.

And I've ignored most of the content of your posts but not the way in which you are posting things, which is why you are suspicious to me.

I just got in from the meeting from hell. Took the big bosses 40 minutes to decide on a time when everyone could meet for a 15 minute meeting... sigh.

I HAVE NOT READ THROUGH EVERYTHING YET. But something I've noticed here... then I went through all the posts since morning and pulled all the votes and retractions.

There were several early votes for Zaffy and Kash, then a couple of retractions and votes for others... I think that there might have been something to the original theory after all after last nights vampire turn, there was a rsuh of updated vtoes.

Bad form Zaffy. Bad form....I vote to stick a stake into Zaffy

This vote may change but I plan on looking hard and long at Zaffy.

I vote to stake Zaffy as well. I understand you didn't want to die, but a three way tie tells the Town a bit more I believe than railing an unknown. I'm not sure this vote will stick but I want you to think about the ramifications of a late save like that without giving everyone time to expound upon it.

Not an innocent one, Zaffy. With votes on each other, DD and I were both in the same position you were. Either her or I could have done what you did at the last minute to save ourselves.

Well I was wrong on DD. I sort of half-expected that because of our history.

On Zaffy, I dunno....

Right now I find it more interesting that Coler voted late on a singleton for no reason other than a hunch rather than seal the deal on someone (notabley Kash) who seemed to be at least a "suspect" on his list.

Rich did the exact same thing last game and I called him out for it...ironically it was also about Kash. No matter how weak a case he saw he did not want to commit. I think Coler was worried about looking bad.

I am okay with giving Zaffy a break on this and don't like all the people jumping on Zaffy about them saving their own neck. I sure wish the coin toss went the other way.

I have been evil with DD and even communicating innocent with her and most of the times she skims the rules worse than me.

Now if Kash comes up as a vamp, then I will be all over Zaffy.

It's impossible to say for sure but I think Zaf made a bad mistake. I agree with the thoughts on Coler's vote more so than the Zaf thing. Yes I voted on a singleton but I had good reason IMO to vote Noods. She's still not off my list but for now...

Kash, since you were saved from a coin toss by Zaffy, I have a question for you.

You think Ice picked the LV. So how does that help? Why does that matter? Are we to attempt to get into Ice's head and figure out who he would pick for LV?

Do you think he would pick a member of his "mafia all-star team" to be the LV? (the Ice mafia all-star team would be - Ice, JL, Mad, Plant, Hooked)

So either you think he would or you think he wouldn't. If it is would, then I am the only one on the list playing this round and you should be voting for me. If it is not, then why am I a suspect of yours.

I think you also feel that if Ice did pick someone it would be ZS or Coler. But you voted and helped lynch DD (who was playing just like DD does). Did you think Ice picked DD to be LV?

Can you understand at all why my joke vote on you is now more serious?

So let's assume that Ice did pick the LV and that he did not pick from his "mafia all-star team". Who would make a good pick for the LV? Who would spice the game up and keep it interesting. Any ideas? Thoughts?

Since you have studied the older vampire games where Ice has modded, who did he hand pick to be LV in the past? Maybe that can help us all.

I will join you on Zaffy and see if you even stay on Zaffy. If Zaffy comes up vampire, then I will be pretty sure you are the LV and Zaffy was not just saving their own rear, but yours too.

I don't think you will let Zaffy go and will switch off.

I retract my vote on Kash and vote to stick a stake into Zaffy.

If others are willing to vote Kash or make it a tie, I will switch back.

John bails on Kash and moves to Zaffy

Well, I really didn't see a case for any of the three, but in perfect hindsight I should have made my stand with the other villagers. If I had switched votes to one of the three, I would have switched to DD, which would put me knee deep in scummy right about now. I'm not convinced Kashta is scum, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me she would not draw so much heat to herself if she were. I will put my vote there if thats what the concensus is.

Zaffy I tend to believe is innocent. Again, I may be wrong. The late vote change is highly suspect, however I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing were I in his shoes. It makes sense to me that his efforts were to save the only person he knows is innocent, and that he felt he was doing what was best for the village. I suppose the only way to know for sure is to hang Kashta. If she is a vamp, then Zaffy will share her fate.

From the time I answered John's post asking what I thought of Ice's random/not random roles, he sat there for an hour and a half saying nothing. Still covering his arse in case the 3-way tie resulted in my death instead of DD or Zaffy.. knowing his vote on me would track right back to him. Now that I'm alive for another day and it's safe to come after me again.. John's switched right back to where he was before.

Now Kash bails on Zaffy

Well, I attempted to make a post 15 minutes ago but apparently my internet connection did not like me at that moment!! :swear: We are still having net issues at work, but for the time being I retract my vote to stake Zaffy; I am in no way claiming that I am sure he is innocent or that I like the scummy way he switched his vote right before nightfall to save his own hide, but I will admit that I voted in the heat of the moment and would like time for further review. There are a couple of others that have peaked my interest. Providing my connection does not fail again, I will attempt to pull posts before I make any accusations.

I wonder now kasha the name thing is interesting, as John said it is a big oops. I can see where having names in mind could happen that way, but you were talking about JL.

I am not sure what to think right now. For the moment I vote to stick a stake in Dawg He worries me right now. Just one of those feeling things. certainly subject to change as this day goes along.

I vote to stake Zaffy, again

My reasoning is, I know him pretty well and saving his own *** at someone else's expense has never been in his repertoire. I would have expected him to play the odds and just take the coin flip. He had a 2 out of 3 chance of surviving.

I really wonder if Kash is vamp here and just got the word that Zaffy was turned. It kind of makes sense. There were several votes on Zaffy, but Kash bailed on him pretty early... with no alternate vote... which is pretty unusual. People tend to leave their votes in place until they have another choice.

Alternately, the same thing could be said of John. He got turned and got the word late.

Either way, Zaffy looks like the best choice for a vamp.

I still don't think Zaffy's switch was that of a mafia but voting for the second vote getter just in case it comes down to a tie situation again is very, very anti town IMO. We tend to learn something from votes even if it means losing an innocent. All saving yourself for the second time would do is put more heat on you the next day while the people who might have been looked at for lynching you (possibly a mafia in there) get a free pass to do it again. A very unnecessary cycle if you ask me...

I mentioned it yesterday, my vote is for people with non-american (and non-canadian) accents. Honestly, I can't get a clue from all these long rambley posts about who is innocent and who is a vampire.

I could see Kash picking you, ZS, jpap and even me. I wouldn't expect Kash to pick Zaffy.

I could see Zaffy picking Kash or any other player that has been active in mafia games.

You are the Lead Vampire. You are the leader of this group of vampires. Your fellow vampires are XXX, etc. You may communicate outside of the thread with these individuals. Each day start, you will decide on a villager to stalk and kill.The 1st 2 nights are automatic turns nothing can stop this,except a lynching, from that point on it becomes a 50/50 chance at death or a turn(who now works for you and may not communicate this fact to anyone else). If you are killed the game ends and all the vampires you turned are returned to innocence. You will start out with YOU and 1 person of your choice at game start. IF you choose the HUNTER,SEER or PRIEST in the 1st 2 days they keep their roles but work for the Vampires.

Ogre, if Kash was a lesser vamp don't you think she would have known if Zaffy was the turn? Since the turn has to be sent in at the beginning of the day (I am assuming thats what the rules mean) and the turn was automatic the LV would have had plenty of time to let Kash know who the turn was going to be.

I'm at the site doing other things, mostly. Going back and forth for a while and not posting all that stuff you guys would rather not read anyway. But I'm here to respond as needed.

Zaffy's been in two games, I think. I'm not sure and I don't pay much attention to what he posts. We've never been on a team together yet. And he's not been a major player. Good participation level though, at least. Would I pick him as a partner? No way. That would be a disaster.. IMO. (No offense intended at all, Zaffy.)

Zaffy gets real deep into statistics and probabilities too much to help me with this. I over-analyze the game already without being around someone else who's prone to do the same thing. As teammates, that wouldn't give us a good balance. I'd see us both going off on a tangent and spinning our wheels... to the point we'd overlook the bigger picture.

If I got myself into trouble, he wouldn't have the range yet to save my butt. And if he was in trouble, I'd have a rough time covering for him too. Give us both more time and we'll get there. But for now, he wouldn't be on my candidate list.
