I just got in from the meeting from hell. Took the big bosses 40 minutes to decide on a time when everyone could meet for a 15 minute meeting... sigh.

I HAVE NOT READ THROUGH EVERYTHING YET. But something I've noticed here... then I went through all the posts since morning and pulled all the votes and retractions.

There were several early votes for Zaffy and Kash, then a couple of retractions and votes for others... I think that there might have been something to the original theory after all after last nights vampire turn, there was a rsuh of updated vtoes.

lani here can be forgiven for this vote. It's pretty obviously a friend thing... I think.



I thought I saw somewhere noods went back on Zaffy... OK, she did...

I really wonder if Kash is vamp here and just got the word that Zaffy was turned. It kind of makes sense. There were several votes on Zaffy, but Kash bailed on him pretty early... with no alternate vote... which is pretty unusual. People tend to leave their votes in place until they have another choice.

Alternately, the same thing could be said of John. He got turned and got the word late.

Either way, Zaffy looks like the best choice for a vamp.

I am not going to try and process the vote analysis in detail because there are some serious logic problems.

I think Jpappy said this already...but your paragraph bolded by me above makes no sense. If Zaffy was the turn both lead vampire and other D1 vampire would of course have known this.

As regards the turn (say JL on your post) you suggest they might get the word late...but arn't they going to get their pm notification immediately on logging in to the site. They would only get late notification if visiting the site without logging in - very unlikely when playing Mafia and checking the site for the first time on a new game day.

I will move Ogre up a wee notch as regards my degree of suspicion of him. He is a very bright guy who knows well how to play this game (in fact introducing it to the site).

In considering Zaffy as a suspect I am very conscious also that if he is innocent he is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easily the best choice for the vampires to steer the vote towards today, having the whiff of sulphur about him from last night.

Riddle me this before I go back and re-read the dross in D1...what put Zaffy up there as a suspect in the first place ?

Ogre, if Kash was a lesser vamp don't you think she would have known if Zaffy was the turn? Since the turn has to be sent in at the beginning of the day (I am assuming thats what the rules mean) and the turn was automatic the LV would have had plenty of time to let Kash know who the turn was going to be.

Dang... I forgot about the early thing. Crap.

Eat your veggies and listen to your mom! In the last game I reacted more than this one, but I think it was for a statistically justifiable reason then. I can understand Ogres want to make it a 3-horse race, I'd rather I wasn't a horse of course. Because no one can talk to a horse of course, unless of course the name of the horse... Sorry for that tangent.

Anyway, now to meaningful content.

I think it's impossible to know who the LV is at this point, but I think there are several players who would make great teammates for the LV. That's where I'm going to put my vote.

What should Wycco not be doing? Is he not getting your pms?

Just a bit of wierdness on this one - highlight it and it says 'is he not getting your pm's'...I presume he used a font which shows up better on a different site theme. But that also does scan with the question he asks Ogre - in an earlier post Ogre says 'Wycco please don't do that' and we know there are only 2 vamps on D1 so it can't arise from a Wycco, Ogre and Zaffy triangle.

So that's Zaffy's D1 posting...truth be told hand on heart...where is the suspicion coming from there.

And the final votes on Zaffi are from his friend Lani, who does know say that he is surprisd Zaffy saved himsel - but this seemed initially like a joky vote, Rich, who has said pretty much nothing, and Ogre, who has just made a case for Zaffy which totally sucks in logic.

So presumably there is a post by Rich where he votes Zaffy yesterday...now he's got Zaffy down as 'don't like the vote switch or the posts since' on his list....strike any one as pretty incongruous ? You're willing to vote someone D1 and then you post up a sorta luke warmish hint on suspicion...this is my first steer on Rich and it ticks him slightly towards the scum side of the line for me.
