PETA Billboard Outrage: Fat Women = Beached Whales

Well their "terrorism" mainly involves naked women in body paint. I'm not seeing the threat to homeland security.

I'm talking about the direct financial support of groups who directly set labs on fire, etc...

If some hottie wants to get her jubblies out and call it animal welfare, I'm all for that.

Saying vegetarian is the only way to lose weight is a blatant lie. I know some vegetarians who have been veggies for years and they are definitely overweight. Man evolved to be an omnivore, ever wonder why? meat and veggies are good for our diet..... so suggesting that veggies are more healthy than everyone else is a lie.

and do you go on such rants about other diets that claim to be the last diet anyone ever needs to go on? weight watchers, jenny craig, atkins, all carbs, no carbs, south beach, all meat, no meat, pineapple, grapefruit etc.....

because if you do and if you have please let us all see where and when you have done this?

Or, do you only happen to do this when it involves PETA or Vegetarianism?

PETA= :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown: They're all:barf:in the head!!!

I think the issue at hand is PETA blatantly comparing over weight women with whales; not the "vegetarian diet".....PETA is an extremist group that has no tolerance or respect for anyone except their own kind.....often resorting to violence and law breaking acts against those that choose not to be a vegan. sheez!

maybe they should try a different approach and sell carnations at airports? :lipssealedsmilie: "you will be assimilated".....

that is great!!!!! i love it!

it isn't saying anything different than most recommend diets. cut out meat/red meats and increase vegetable intake as one step in order to loose weight.

people are just too sensitive.
im 5'8" at 140 lbs and eat beef and pork 2 and some times 3 times a day im not over weight. did i miss something

peta is a joke and half the time they dont know what they are saying. we raise cattle for meat a century farm (been in the family for a century or more) we get letters once in a while from them and the people who write them letters dont know what their talking about

How about this?-- The ad campaign is just plain offensive. No other "group" in the world would be allowed to be publicly mocked with impunity other than the overweight. It's time we get off our "healthy" high horses and act with a little bit of common decency, period. Not all overweight people are overweight due to their own overindulgence. You wouldn't see a billboard mocking diabetics, would you?(Yes, I am of average weight and yes, I do eat meat.) Sense of humor, good idea, mocking overweight people-- typical of our messed up society.

Their ad did exactly what is was supposed to do, get you talking about Peta to your friends and family.
