Game 50 was normal.. basic 50/50 format. (So there!)

Has anyone ever considered writing a web application to automate the mafia games?

At the start of the game just specify what % to be mafia- and check off what roles to include in the game- have the computer automate the count of votes- that way there is never any doubt- perhaps show the voting history- etc. Take care of randomly deciding fate for a tied-vote etc.

Allow it to be automated as far as setting up and announcing event, etc... or still allow a narrator to announce the events (but have the grunt work done for him by the computer).

Could have different sets of pre-compiled rules and randomly pick the format each time... or allow the narrator to hand pick each game.


Just a thought...


To plump up numbers could also have civilian AIs- who would act in their teams favour but who would have some randomness to them... obviously they wouldn't be able to commit to debate- but their votes might be used as certain clues.

Game will start on Thursday, Sept 3...with the first night fall on Sunday, Sept 6 at 9 PM EST.

THis should help all those who are vacationing that week...to short of time to run a game before then.

Games to close together have caused problems with UDs, and or boredom.

So with that start date in mind....sign up! Looks like a blue mist game folks....

Afraid I am out then. We are leaving on the 3rd for the beach and will return on the 7th. I will have spotty internet most likely but I will be rather busy getting sand out of my shoes and figuring out how to make salt stick to my margarita glass. Oh and I'm going to the estuarium on Daupin Island in Mobile Bay.
