Mafia 56. An Unknown Evil. THE GAME....

You want me to answer if I have a role or not? Have you went to college and starting experimenting with drugs? Is that how things are up north?

I also did not say anything about wanting to hold back a vote - I am wondering why should I vote if I don't have to.

It is really simple, which is going to be held more against me - not voting or voting for an innocent (or even an evil, for reasons stated). Would it be easier just to lay low and not vote. Does it help the town by me voting or not? With players allowed to vote every other day, then is there any accountablity?

LOL

I wanted you to answer why you thought voting for an evil would work against you. I think its fair to say that not voting because you are afraid of voting for an evil and in turn looking scummy because you are known for voting for teammates. I have to ask, do you even know if there are teams at this point?

You said that voting an evil would somehow hurt you (or something to that effect) which instantly made me think you had some sort of role where that was the case.

Without knowing what the hell is going on, we have to look hard for hints. I saw the oddity in your post and asked about it. I can now see some twisted logic in your statement but I have to admit you took it pretty far.

well, I have to say, I think this is the earliest that the game has really ever gotten into fist-i-cuffs.... I mean usually everyone's still poking fun for the first few hours...

another thought, I read the first post 4 times now and still don't really get it... I hate to be the one throwing the confused card but the facts are the facts, I am completely confused.

Basic premise is: You don't know what the evil is- it could be vampires, could be Mafia, could be something entirely different you don't know- the entire plot will unravel itself to you during the game.

One player has the "mayor role"- as mayor that person knows the entire plot. (I wanted at least one player to know all the rules to keep me straight)

The goal of the innocents is to look for "some kind of evil" not knowing at games-start what that is.

Does that help at all? PM me if anything doesn't make sense that you need explaining without the forum reading.

Why do I get the impression we just walked in an episode of Northern Exposure. It really sounds like Coler got a PM that said he has to sing. Maybe John got the "be an *ss" PM.

I'm also thinking that everyone has some kind of role... like a giant game of clue. I vote to lynch Wycco with the pipe in the living room.

I'm going to make a leap and assume you mean everyone has a power role since I think we can consider plain innocents as a "role".

This post has me wondering two things.

#1:What role did you get?

#2:What role did you get?

Agreed. Why would Ogre make that statement if he didn't get a special role of some kind himself?

Since we do not know what PR's are out there, it's impossible to lynch someone based on that assumption because theres a unknown chance that its one beneficial to the town...

I meant to say

I think its fair to say that not voting because you are afraid of voting for an evil and in turn looking scummy because you are known for voting for teammates is odd.

Just an early count: Three players each have one vote:

ROCKER: JPAP #20
JPAP: JL #25
JL: Annie #47

thanks Wycco., that pretty much sums it up

... and what a fancy way to get me to PM you... joke or not, if you want a PM from me, it will have to wait til the game is over
