some people need to pull their heads out

Wow. You guys are being pretty judgmental about somebody elses vehicle. First off, if you dont have to drive, be seen in or otherwise be associated with it, what does it matter what it looks like? Second, why is this any different that painting a pinstripe or flame on the body? Art is what you make of it and that is the great thing about it, its totally personalized. Third, none of you know this person, they could be one of the nicest most gentle people you ever met. None of us know for sure unless you have met them.

As far as cost. Im sure it was less than a dollar or two for all six shells. No big loss.

*Edit. Very fitting title.

In the end, it's his car and his money...

While I agree with most of what you say the statement on the truck regarding foreign vehicles most likely is demostrative of someone who isn't especially nice or gentle. And as far as the cost of the shells you should also include the depreciation in value or the cost to repair the holes to determine the real cost. While I did once try to buy a surplus Jeep and the fact that it had bullet holes in it made it a bit more appealing even an oddball like me would see bullet holes in a new truck as a negative in terms of value. Let alone the possibility that the holes weren't intentional and I'd have to worry driving it around that the shooter might not be finished with his "work of art"!

I don't really care about the shells, which is why I said it would make me laugh. The sticker is the idiotic thing about the truck to me, and sadly is the attitude of far too many people in the USA.... "If its not made in the USA it must be junk" mentality.

being judgemental? its human nature..
i don't think everyone is so upset about the holes.. as for the sticker, the guy is displaying a sticker on his vehicle that is ugly, vulgar, and obviously meant to push buttons. i think everything being said is quite well deserved and probably wanted. if that person read the replies to the picture, i bet they would get a giggle out of it.
art is what you make of it, i agree... and so is your sense of humor. but that doesn't mean everyone will like it. you put it out there, especially in that manner, you are asking for the public's opinion. so be prepared for it.
this is certainly not something anyone should get fired up about, but if someone thinks its stupid, so what if they say so?

Of course everyone will have their own opinions, but is it worth insulting someone's presumed intelligence over a friggin' bumper sticker?

is it worth buying a bumper sticker to insult someone else's opinion or posessions?
if it makes you laugh, why not?
to each their freakin own.
