EDIT: I see windows 7 in here! Is it any good? Windows vista came with this laptop (inspiron 1720) and I don't know if I should try to upgrade or not. I have no problems with vista :o

Windows 7 is basically what vista should have been

not that vista was a bad OS once they fixed it... but windows 7 combines all the features of vista (plus more) and it runs on like half of the resources of vista... this will equal a much faster machine in the long run
its like running a modern computer on an OS like windows XP (fast) but with the modern feel of vista
