I'm thinking, it actually might be safe for the innocent journalist to come out. The innocent team gets a hit tonight, they'd hate to hit the journalist by accident in case he/she is acting scummy to avoid suspicion.

It would also help to know which headline can be trusted. Just a thought really. I'll probably catch slack for this.

I'm gonna take my dog to the park, and likely regret this post when I get home.

guys I do have an issue with this though. Once Rich goes, if we do in fact find that he is mafia, then Kash is an automatic target for the mafia to hit...just a thought.... if Kash is innocent, I think she is way too valuable to leave out in the middle of the dessert like that....

If Kash is the Innocent of the two her name is already out there since the Journalist used it. Whether we lynch Rich or Kash doesn't change the fact that the one proven Innocent will be a target to the Mafia. But don't forget the Mafia Journalist is noncommunicating so it is possible that they named one of there own.

I'd advise against this at this point in the game. We are doing well to have two Mafia already gone and we have a good lead on a third, I don't think the risk is worth the reward.

You'll catch more slack from me if your vote stays on Kash since I really think she is Innocent. This goes for Ogre as well with his straggler vote on Annie. I also have Annie leaning Mafia, but Tonight isn't his night.

I wish I had put it in the rules but I didn't.

I'm saying it now though. The journalists can't come out. It would defeat the reason both headlines are posted at once.

On Game Night #2 and #4, the four Mafia that can communicate with one another, will select someone to hit.

On Game Night #3 and #4, the four Innocents that can communicate with one another, will select someone to hit.

One non communicating innocent and 1 non communicating mafia will get investigations.
They will also be able to publish a newspaper headline. You will not know which side the headlines are from.


One non communicating innocent and 1 non communicating mafia will get 1 protection each to use any night of their choice from a hit only.

So the innocents get a hit tonight and both the innocents mafia night #4. A non-communicating innocent gets only one protection. I suggest Kash be protected night 4 if Rich is found to be guilty. Still doesn't make her 100% innocent but enough that I think the mafia will want to target her rather than risking a hit on their own.

This one's a real beauty. Had to read this one twice. Are you in effect saying we should make this a two horse race between an innocent and a scumbag. Alarm bells are going off left and right here. You're alot smarter than that Ogre. Not very pro town IMO.

While I am not condoning Ogre's low posting style, are you really asking Ogre this when you have only 1 more post than him? Just sticks out like maybe you are trying to throw people up in the middle...

How would you propose we protected her? the mafia gets their hit tomorrow night, not tonight. So she's safe for at least one night.

I am not really sure... I do see though that the communicating innocents have their hit tonight so at least, until finding out what Rich is, Kash can be spared.... I am conceerned though if he does come up mafia... she would be leaning innocent IMO, and I would think a target for the mafia's next hit.

Reading back, I found this exchange.

Noods I don't know, to be honest. They implicated me, so of course I'm not going to agree with it, because I know that at least that part is wrong...Kash pretty much put me and Dawg in the driver's seat (thats how I viewed it), so the whole theory is still BS in my mind. I will say that I certainly didn't see it from Dawg but I also can't rule out the fact that he tried to appear close to me for a reason. Sounds like I'm saving my neck, and it kind of is, but it's all I have to explain it.

Dawg being mafia threw me for a loop. I'm moving DD down the list to be a consideration for a non-communicating mafia, especially with the way TRS and MC are acting lately. They are moving up...

But with the headlines, I have to have Kash and Rich somewhere since it's 50/50. Kash was right about Dawg, so she too would have to be non-communicating. I don't see Rich being so obvious as hitting Jb though but he is still a good possibility.

Why would hitting JB be obvious for anyone? He was not really agressive.....

My point is that Jb's only "splash" really his only connection to any other player is to Rich via his case (and vote). I don't think Rich would be on the communicating mafia side then...

Otherwise, yes it was what I would consider a pretty normal mafia hit on someone who hasn't done much.

Pappy, how does the hit on JB preclude Rich from being part of the communicating mafia team?

Just the connection with Jb making the case and voting for Rich, it would be a rookie mistake to call the hit on Jb...in my opinion. Jb didn't do much to stand out in this game except that case so it connects him to Rich. Whether or no that is the case, I can't be certain. Either way I see Rich as more mafia than you Kash so it's not a huge factor when it comes to my vote.
