Mafia 58-

Darn beaten to the punch, but to be honest post count means nill. It's the quality of your posting that matters.

Well, then we can agree on this. I can say one thing, I was suprised to see Ogre post in support of a plan to run Kash against Rich, when we can almost be assured Kash is the innocent. He hasn't responded to my post. Thats never a good plan, something else we agree on.

I think it's going to be a queit nightfall, not much they can do to save Rich. It's clear, as Jpap pointed out, Rich is not communicating innocent, or the votes wouldn't have piled up on him.

As I said Zaffy you are entirely correct under normal circumstances; however, in this particular case where we KNOW one person is Mafia and one is most likely Innocent it makes no sense to leave a suspected Innocent on the table for a lynch. If we didn't know what we know as is often the case I am a proponent of multi-pronged lynching as evidenced by my vote yesterday to make it a three way race.

Isn't rich a "suspected mafia" right now? he's certainly on the table for a lynch. I think he is too, but what do I know? Is he on your team? Are you trying to kill the conversation so you can hide and talk about melons?

Night one. Dawg, a known communicating mafia member puts his vote on Zsand. Is it unreasonable to think that a mafia team may put single votes on their own teammates, especially on day 1, as a method of distancing?

guys I do have an issue with this though. Once Rich goes, if we do in fact find that he is mafia, then Kash is an automatic target for the mafia to hit...just a thought.... if Kash is innocent, I think she is way too valuable to leave out in the middle of the dessert like that....

Good point, that really it comes down to a trade for an innocent.

Luckily, we have an slight number advantage so as long as we are down another mafia we are still on track.

So the innocents get a hit tonight and both the innocents mafia night #4. A non-communicating innocent gets only one protection. I suggest Kash be protected night 4 if Rich is found to be guilty. Still doesn't make her 100% innocent but enough that I think the mafia will want to target her rather than risking a hit on their own.

I am not really sure... I do see though that the communicating innocents have their hit tonight so at least, until finding out what Rich is, Kash can be spared.... I am conceerned though if he does come up mafia... she would be leaning innocent IMO, and I would think a target for the mafia's next hit.

To be honest, I don't think all this stuff about me being the next likely mafia hit victim matters anymore. Jpappy's right where he says it's a trade for an innocent.

Tonight, we're already on track to take out one possibly two more from the mafia side (pending the outcome of tonight's hit). That will give us a little breathing room in the numbers - and - the mafia doesn't get any more kill attempts after that. Everything else that happens then will be determined by majority vote. I'm still safe enough today (and tonight) that I get to place my vote with everyone on Day 4.... before nightfall comes and the goons can make their move.

From what I see and barring any unexpected surprises, I believe the town already has this covered.. with or without me posting any new theories or possibilities. While I was here, I managed to annoy the right people or at least make them nervous enough to make mistakes which have tipped us off to who they are.

After Night #4 and with the numbers still on our side, anyone we're still not sure of... just kill them and don't worry about it. The mafia isn't calling the shots now. The town already knows enough to see this through.

Both teams get a hit on night 4.

nevermind, misread that portion.

Yep. But I'll crap my pants if he's innocent. So will 98% of the town. Well, that may be an exaggeration. You're the statistician. Yep. It's a word.

No Zaffy, that's not unreasonable. Sound gameplay IMO. Why didn't you or Ogre suggest running him against Rich instead of Kashta then???

Holy crap, you guys are posting again.
