Don't try this at home! 1800 fish in a 75g

WOW!!
I am very impressed! Love the rescued fish - the hatchets are especially spectacular.

And that is the coolest tank stand I have ever seen. Woot!

Awesome!

Wow! Lucky for the fish they decided to try to rehome them and not just let them die! That stand is awesome Rach. Can I borrow your hubby????;)

I wanna see a video of all those neons!!!

I need to get my arse in gear to get my tanks up and running again for those hatchets and neons--count me in for some!!!!

WOW! That must be a blast to watch. I'd love to see that many otos living together but I don't have the room. Although, I may be interested in a few otos, 2 for my DP tank and 2 more for my 10g once you get the sale thread up and going.

Rach, you are awesome! Good save! I want some Otos, and maybe some neons.
I have two otos in a 40 breeder, how many more do you recommend?

I have a new tank (I'm going to do a tank thread at some point) and I want to do this tank as a SA clearwater stream. I hope to add a few Brochis splendens to my one lonely guy.

Would green neons be a good choice, do you think? If so what do you think the stocking should be for a 40 gallon breeder; numbers of Brochis, Otos, and Neons?

otos are really social, so if you can keep them in groups like you do tetras its best. I am not a great stocking guru, I tend to overstock (not as bad as this tank typically, LOL, but I stock on the heavy side). 40 breeder has an awesome footprint with a huge surface area. You could fit a nice big school of neons, cories, and otos. Otos have a very low bioload as well. I would ask some of the gurus for specific numbers. Personaly I would put a dozen or more cories, at least 6 otos, and at least 20 neons if it was my tank. The behaviors they exhibit in larger groups of their own are amazing.

few more pics.

I am so excited. For all i have read about otos being difficult to feed, these have nice round tummies and are eating flake and kens veggie sticks.
