Lots of great questions and no real answers in sight.

The Rich Theory might hold merit if I were the MOD. I'm not sure how Dawg chooses teams. But if push comes to shove and nothing else rears its head I'm game. If you think about it and the number 3 is correct we have a 65% chance he is mafia.

I am going to assume the "Rich Theory" is based on my post about rich being short for Ricardo. Maybe some folks can google that also.

I don't think that Dawg would assign a role based on someones screen name. I don't think there is any reason to think Dawg would make rich mafia any more than anyone else. I think one game on day one I voted for noods because her name sounded like a mafia name. I really can't imagine even Ice giving rich a mafia role based on his name, but he says he might if he were a MOD.

Maybe this was some type of trap that Ice was placing.

I think everyone in the game got their PM around the same time. I can't prove what my PM was (per rule #4 that you must have skimmed), but I can assure you there was no list.

4) You can say whatever you want in the game, but you can't 'prove it' with my PM to you.

Not once did I say it reinforced my suspicion of you...I wasn't even in the first place. So no, it's not a way to get you lynched. I saw it as a possible push for Rich (ie. I'm game, how about you?) without placing the vote and waiting to see what comes of it first.

It's a little different than a purely random vote in that who is going to jump on the train in agreement? (I agree with your random vote and I vote to lynch XXX? Not likely.) In this case there was some sort of logic anyone could have grasped on to.

I'm not at all saying this was your intention and I could be barking up the wrong tree entirely...I'm trying to explain how I got to MY conclusion after asking how you got to YOUR conclusion. It looks as though fundamentally we disagree with how exactly to define a random vote, so without getting into a semantic battle there isn't much more to argue about.

So jpap, is your vote on Ice random?

You know Pap that is the 2nd time you've come after me in less then 12 hrs. I took the 1st as a joke but this 2nd one seems to me that you're trying to get me lynched for no other reason then I'm not on your mafia team and you deem me a threat.

I don't get what you don't get about me being game to vote Rich. If you'd read the entire post and not just pulled a partial sentence you'd see I said if nothing reared its head. Why is a random vote so mysterious to you on Day 1? Would a better random vote be to just throw a dart at a list of names?

You don't need to worry about me voting Rich. I think something reared its ugly head.

So I broke down and googled it.

Here is what I found -

I am driving my sister back to Chicago today I don't know when I will be home tonight so in fear that I will miss nightfall, I am going to place a random vote. I would hate to miss nightfall and have my vote go to a random mafia member next nightfall. I really don't have any suspects as of right now. I am not understanding the little tiff between Ice and Jpap. JL looks like he is sitting back and egging them on. Looks like normal first day stuff with this group I vote to lynch Zaffy.

Well, still not much going on with the exception of the banter between Ice and Jpap. I do not think it warrants getting involved at this point, just a peeing contest and a difference of opinion.....Lots of singleton votes out there but not untypical (is that a word?) of night one. Where to place my vote......need to think on this a bit more.

I prefer date palms, cause... well cause they make dates and I make awesome date rolls. Mmmmmmmm.

Well Z, I would also have to say the date palm. Being from Canada, I have never seen a palm tree. We have many kinds of trees here, but palm tree's aren't one of them. In fact, the date palm is the only variety of palm tree I know, and only because you told me it is. I am not googling it. Gonna trust you on this.
