That's a good movie, I like when that guy who's stealing the samples falls down the hill.
Good thing that 2012 is an arbitrary date that will have no real significant impact on our lives. Aside from what the crazies make of it.
I think you need to stop watching movies and start reading some scientific journals if you're serious...judging by your posts I have to question whether you really are...
There are hippies on this forum! One in particular that comes to mind.(and you know who you are)
The world is going to end someday and there is nothing you can do about it. No one can predict a day. There are some documentaries on the history channel that goes in depth about 2012. Maybe you can catch one. My daughter is 16 and she too had a lot of questions after seeing the movie. I tryed to put her mind at ease the best I could but it didn't seem to help. She watched one in particular(I don't recall the name)and it really helped her not be scared of 2012.
I think this movie has put a scare into these young minds.
Maybe if you do some research around the web you will find some answers to ease your mind.

Nostradamus didn't believe the world would end until 3797.

Isn't this whole thing about death, really? Death is an inevitable part of life, it happens. (among other things) There is nothing we can do about it or to stop it so why worry about it??????
i am watching documantrys on 2012. 2012 is the end of the mayan calander and there time probaly stopped before they could make one for 2013 so in all reality there might be life after 2012 but who knows. we should still learn to take care of the planet better tho.
I think the printing presses they used for making calendars went out of warranty in 2012. So they had to find a new press.
