Im have all the parts or parts are on thier way for me to make my own FBF cant wait to build it and try it. I will post pictures as I start and build
 
Not sure if im gonna put it on my 65 or my 26 i heard they work no matter which you put them on and one pound of sand can work for hundreds of gallons if could plumb it for both i would
 
smaller than most FBF its gonna be 18 by 3 inchs and im getting a pump that will move up to 300gph and can be adjusted down hope its enough
 
UPDATE

Okay so here is the first couple shots of the FBF im making . Its only the first three sides of the Column still waiting on the ends and final side for the bulk heads to arrive so i can drill for them .

i hope that's glass... silicone doesn't like plexi.
 
Its lexan and the guys at the glass store here told me that silicone on lexan with a couple days to cure would be perfectly water tight
