Mafia #67 - 50/50 -- The Play

With less than 2 hours until nightfall you were willing to see that FF could be innocent, now you were for sure -

Yes, I see that FF could be innocent. If he is, I am sorry that I made a case against him, though I think it's served the purpose of bringing the scum out of the woodwork to protect him. I truly believed his posts to be scummy when I saw them, and his responses in my mind got scummier and scummier. Story kept changing. Not something I'd expect of someone telling the truth. Hopefully he is scum and gets lynched tonight. If he shows innocent I know it's my head next since scum will hold everything I've said against him against me.

I have you leaning innocent because of how hard you went after FF, I think you believed he slipped up. I wish you were not so stuburn and closed minded. There is plenty of scum that let you lead this fight and hide in your shadow.

It's a character flaw for sure...holds true irl too, just ask Dag. It's something I'm working on improving though.

I'm going to crash on the couch and watch some tv. Was a long work day and I'm drained.

My suspect list is pretty much the voters on FF. After some interactions and posts that could change but most of you pretty much went after FF hard and no one else.

Looking back at those that did vote FF I'm more inclined to think that any mafia who did place their vote there in hiding would be those who made less of a splash throughout the day, namely Annie and Rich.

Annie took what Lab had said and went with the vote in his first post of the game. He didn't do any other bush kicking other than throwing out a few questions at JL later. He insisted FF was scum but never pulled any posts himself. Only piggy backed off of what was said.

Rich at one point was voting for LR because he thought she wasn't protown and was scum. The late switch to FF was because he wanted to get the game going despite throwing him around as a suspect earlier. Seems rather convenient.

Guilty as charged I voted for FF simply to be sure he was gone and we could talk about something else. That is it.

You really thought that anything involving FF was going to stop just because he was lynched?

No but after we decide who was at fault and what the real conspiracy is or whatever other crud our twisted minds can think of we are done with it. Also we have already list more name since the lynch than we did for 40 hours before this..

We have several conversations going on now.

I honestly didnt see that coming.

FF's posts were scummy, plain and simple. I wasn't following Lab or anyone else for that matter. I thought I had a scumbag in my crosshairs.

I have Lab leaning innocent at this point, despite the fact FF wasn't a scumbag. I dont feel she would have pursued him so feverishly if she were mafium, it put her squarely into the spotlight, not typical mafia behavior.

I will post more after work tomorrow, I've had a long day.

Once again, we see history repeat itself in the sad little town of ACville. Another day 1 sacrifice to Bala of an innocent townie.

As I have stated before, if we can learn from history, it won't repeat itself.

Today's history lesson is that we saw Lab_Rat twisting FF's words and posts to start badgering him and corner him with her attack.

FF responded the way she knew he would. The same way she does under the same situation.

Let's see a show of hands from all who were surprised by the way FF handled the onslaught begun by LR.

Towards the end of day one we saw LR begin to concede it was possible for FF to be innocent. This was a very good job of setting up the "gosh I'm sorry but you shouldn't have seemed so scummy" ploy.

She has already begun the "poor innocent me" posts.

Don't be so hard on yourself LR. You did a masterful job of railroading FF from the onset.

Stand up and take a bow for your performance.

I think it is predictable that LR's suspect list consists of those who didn't jump on her bandwagon on day one. (I am hurt that I didn't make that list )

Does that answer your query LR as to me posting my thoughts when I am sober?
