fish that people seem to love but you dont care for

i stay away from just about every fish that is sold at a place like petsmart...i dont care for the ordinary fish that people come in and buy everyday... now petsmart does have cardinal tetras they are an exception,,although always really small ones... usually

(All plecos, Zebra coloured fish, Fish with no colour,) < these make me gag sometimes when theres a whole crowd of them in the fish store, guppies breed way too fast and they only swim at the top not very attractive fish

albino fish, I love color, I just don't like the lack of color, why would you breed that out. Even if it's brown or green it's still a cool patern. To make matters worse I had 2 L144 lemon pleco's. One died from Ich and my girlfriends dad also a fish guy thought he would be nice and replace it. Came over with a albino and swore it was the same thing as my L144. It grew up and yeah it's really a albino no doubt about it, ones bright yellow one is a bale whitish yellow.

Tiger barbs

Neon/Cardinal tetras

Fancy goldfish

Silver Dollars

Ditto on any balloon fish

The majority of "staple" fish commonly sold in any pet store. Most of the time I either think they are too boring, flat out ugly, or really inappropriate for most setups. One fish I really don't understand the widespread appeal for: Convict cichlids. Seriously...they are not that attractive, have nasty personalities, and what's the fun of breeding something that easy (not to mention how difficult rehoming the fry can become)?

mmm well right off the bad i dont like deformed fish or tattooed fish, don't really care about genetic modified fish like GloFish (Danios). there are some cichlids that i just don't like but most fish can grow on me. i must say though that i used to not like oscars but i'm warming up to them.

btw i love plecos and catfish at some point i want an all cat fish tank.

I STRONGLY dislike tetra's, really I haven't found/owned one I've liked ever. Which is a pain when asking for stocking ideas because no matter how many times you say you don't want tetras 9 out of 10 people still suggest them.

Balloon fish, Glofish, and Angelfish. I really do not get what all the hype is over angelfish.
