So I'm not supposed to put ideas out in this game? That's news to me. You were talking about me putting ideas out and not acting on them until someone else moved first. That thought is clearly wrong proven by my vote for LG. So who do you think is scum??

What do you think about 'fish' appearing regularly in any Mafia thread?

For zero participation on D1, you've become a real Barney Fife on D2. I'm wondering if you got to meet your remaining teammate, and now find it safe to participate.

If you think I had zero participation on D1 you would be very wrong. I voted out a scum on D1. I also stated it was probably a good idea to not move off of HN as he seemingly wanted us to when he retracted his vote on Wiz. I knew he wasn't going to UD.

Oh you can put them out there, but when you just set them there for others to run with, it's called 'floating'.

Yeah you struck a nerve. Your posts are absent of any substance on D1, and on D2 you become extremely interested in the game, and run off half-cocked.

Guess I should just sit here quietly and see what transpires. :grinno:

I never tried to discredit anything. I know I didn't use the word "fish" as a code, I'm not convinced that Mad did either. There is no squirming here, just trying to figure things out also.

What I am wondering though about this whole "fish" thing, in the rules for the KGB it says that that word means "kill" I looked back thinking maybe in hooks post where he used the word he was telling someone to "kill" someone, since Rich was the one killed and most likely the target of the other kill I would think if that is what was going on his name would be in the post. It is the post with the list and there is nothing about fish by Riches name. I also looked at Mads post and you can see mine. IF the word fish was being used as code wouldn't it be to tell others to "kill" someone. Am I wrong in that thought, I didn't play that game but from reading the rules that is what I get. Each word means a certain thing.

I am more convinced about LG than I am about you which is why I am voting for her. If she turns up scum I will vote you next. If she turns up innocent it will be obvious that fish has nothing to do with anything. I have suspected LG since D1 and this just sealed it for me is all. What do you think of LG using fish and rat in one post?

The word fish appearing in other games has nothing to do with this game. We have already seen HN's use of the word fish in a strange way. The code words are also how we got busted in the original KGB game so that's why I went there first. I do need to go back and review HN's posts and what others have said about HN on D1. I will say I am still confused by your vote on HN if you are scum which is another reason I am not voting for you right now.

When I personally used the code words in the first game it was not to say anything. It was a signal to others that knew the code to stay away from votes on others that used the codes. However some did chose to vote for others that used the code word. It was a way to know who the innocents were and who was on your side. We couldn't communicate so it was the only way we had to signal each other as to who we were.

Just caught up real quick but I am heading out the door. I want to vote and will follow up thoughts/posts etc later today. I vote to lynch LadyG. She was my first pick yesterday and I still think something is not sitting right, even more now. More later, I promise! I need to re-assess yesterdays events/posts now that we (kinda) know the game for yesterday and one confirmed scum...

Rat is odd, only because it's all caps....fish not so much.

The use of fish appearing in other games has lots to do with this game. One of the things you said when you found people saying fish was "Coincidence?". I'm saying yeah...fish is a common word, likely to pop up in any Mafia thread.

And IMO HN's use of fish isn't all that odd. I know that he used to sell invertebrates, and also sells plants. I'm assuming that he also sells fish, and therefore had fish arriving. Maybe it wasn't true, but his use of fish there doesn't strike me as odd. If HN were seriously trying to communicate, I'm sure that he'd use a more obscure word than 'fish', especially on AC.

So my posts are absent of any substance on D1? I pointed out why I thought HN was scum and voted for him. He was scum. That is not my only substance on D1 either. Go back and read my posts. I did read your posts. How's this for substance?

Not much substance. This is the only thing I could find you saying about HN and why you were voting him. I think you got stuck on HN and couldn't move your vote because it would look scummy. Then when my vote went to HN and others saw what i saw and started voting HN here is what you posted...

JB, this post seems a little odd to me...

The post below shows that you find HN and Wiz equally scummy, but you changed your vote to HN to keep the voting close, so I'm assuming that it's Wiz that you'd change your vote to.

So, with Wiz and HN being equally scummy to you, why has it seemingly become more important to you that HN be the one lynched?

You trying to get JB to move his vote after he expressed concerns about HN's possible UD.

It's more important because apparently you're afraid to move your vote, in case HN were to place a vote and not UD. So what, though? Why is it important to keep your vote on HN, as opposed to moving to Wiz, when Wiz and HN are equally scummy?

You'd be okay with Wiz dying if HN dies also, but if HN votes you'd rather he die over Wiz?

Again trying to get JB to move even calling him "afraid" to move.

And HN at the end with a possible slip post to you saying he knew it wouldn't work. Maybe he was setting you up or maybe he was trying to clear you by being so obvious about it.
