I was helpful by trying to keep people from moving off of HN when he retracted his vote. You on the other hand were trying to coax others into moving their vote to Wiz? Why? No need to poll the Town...I know what I did on D1.

You're right you have 2 posts about HN and why you voted them and three posts trying to get people to vote for Wiz close to nightfall.

I can agree that the "fish" connection is weak. HN is dead, he was mafia. We know that the mafia and innocent power roles were assigned roles based on game 56. In game 56 the KGB could not communicate outside of the thread. They had to use code words. Maybe jpap did change the code words, maybe not.

I think the use of the word RAT in caps in worth lynching Lady G over.

Rat was the leader of the KGB actually.

this is what is more convincing to me about the whole "Rat" theory and G. I find it pretty unsettling though that Mad seems to be trying to play the theory down a bit though.... yet the whole HN trying to bring Mad down with him as he was being lynched is putting a barrier in there telling me that maybe mad is on to something, maybe the whole theory is ridiculous...

It is tough to say about the whole fish theory...I agree as I have said before. However in my opinion if LG turns up evil Mad would be the next obvious choice. I also agree that the information on LG is much more convincing with the caps on the word RAT and fish in the same post. That's why I'm voting LG. I have expressed my own concerns about the fish theory previously. I have said my evidence on Mad and the word fish wasn't great and stated why. The only reason Mad has come more to light as far as I'm concerned is because he seems to be pushing the issue harder than he needs to. Everyone including me seems to agree that the fish evidence on him isn't great. But he shouldn't get a pass either. To me the more convincing evidence on Mad is his push for votes on Wiz close to night. It's not the fish thing.

Mollies disappointed me, I expected them to do a last minute save, and I'm shocked Red UDed. But at least the town got HN. Didn't see that one.

In reference to my wink emote to HN, yeah HOOT was a joke, although it was at least partially right It did double as a good scumhunt though, seeing who would take something like that at more than face value.

But from what I've seen Wiz is still a good suspect. One for the way he responded to me naming him in the HOOT posts, and two because HN seemed to try and sacrafice himself for Wiz, but then revoted, I'd assume because he did see any way to wiggle them both out of it.

I vote to lynch Wizard.

Ok, I just went back and re-read the entire thread. It's one long day 1. I pulled some of HN's posts and also any posts that had code words. Not sure if "fish" meant anything but I figured it couldn't hurt to pull them. There were no other code words used, except for LG's RAT post.

I vote to lynch the wizard. Calling a "slip" already.

Maybe a distancing vote to throw out first, but I doubt it. The fact that HN flipped scum makes me think it's more likely Wiz is not.

OMG. I swear the posting has gotten even worse! I'm pretty well caught up, but sheesh! Any way, here are my current thoughts after reading through. I would quote everything that I'm referring to, but I don't have that kind of free time.


Zaffy- need to see more thoughts relative to the game.
Dangerdoll- Scum until proven otherwise. Has fooled me before.
Firedancer- Scum until proven otherwise. Has fooled me before.
Noodles- Expected more posts.
Madcrawdad- Scum until proven otherwise. Has fooled me before.
Fishfriend- Self-proclaimed moron... nuff said. j/k!
Lady G- She always seems evil to me. I'm not sure that I remember her being helpful (or coherent) in the past.
Charlie_stubbs- Nothing really.
Jbradt- Seems kinda wishy washy so far. Nothing solid to me though.
Lab_rat- Seems to like most theories that have been floated. Don't care what it is unless it implicates you or your buddies?
ZSandmann- HOOT theory... I can't believe that it not only didn't get called out, but a couple seem to place enough stock into it to go with it. They look scummier than Z right now, but I have to believe that the "theory" was floated for observation. See Lab_rat.

I'll try to keep up today, but we have a boat load of fish coming in and a ton to do.

I'm thinking other scum may be hidden in the "scum until proven otherwise" statements or ones suggesting someone is evil. I'd think he was setting up Charlie and RB with the lack of saying anything about them.

Now on to the word "fish" which I've highlighted in red.

1: Wiz innocent who was a convienent choice as few people would argue with it. I cant really argue with it, just pulled up waring signs all over.

2: HN would be an innocent who accidently got pulled in, OR, HN is scum following other scum.



I swear, i skimmed the rules (never thought i would have to say that), and this game is a strange one, can be sure about anything.

Ok, why in the world would FF lol at the term "fishy"? I think he was giddy about getting to use a code word. Honestly, reading it without knowing there were code words, I wouldn't think anything of it. But the fact that using "fishy" makes him giggle makes me suspect him more. His play style has also been reined in. Maybe he's learned, maybe someone told him to shut up, idk.

On the other hand, he was the first one on HN and kept his vote there. I don't think FF is they sort who would vote for a teammate and keep it there.

I'd just go for 'peculiar' over 'fishy'.

Labby, it has already been pointed out repeatedly as well as stated in the rules that the teams can only communicate when allowed by the Mod. So are you confirming that the scum den has been open all along? Your questioning and pointing fingers at others as they wonder about when the den would be/is open seems a bit fishy......

Go figure...only 3 people in this thread used the word FISH in a post. HN, LG and Mad. Mad was also pointed to by HN as we know at the last few minutes before night. Coincidence???

If you search fish other people will come up but it is only found after night when we were referring to the code words from the other game or before night when someone would quote one of these 3 people posts.

The use of fish appearing in other games has lots to do with this game. One of the things you said when you found people saying fish was "Coincidence?". I'm saying yeah...fish is a common word, likely to pop up in any Mafia thread.

And IMO HN's use of fish isn't all that odd. I know that he used to sell invertebrates, and also sells plants. I'm assuming that he also sells fish, and therefore had fish arriving. Maybe it wasn't true, but his use of fish there doesn't strike me as odd. If HN were seriously trying to communicate, I'm sure that he'd use a more obscure word than 'fish', especially on AC.

I'm back and doing a little research before I get to the yard work- but since Labby called it out; I often use the word fishy when describing my thoughts on scum in these games. Probably EVERY game if anyone cares to look. I dont have that kind of time.

LG piqued my interest early in the game with the way she was absolutely pushing her theory on which "game" we were playing, like she was insisting we agree with her. I feel this was an attempt to divert others attention from trying to find out what game we really were in and possibly rooting out a scum bag. The events preceeding nightfall, as being discussed today, solidify my thoughts even more.
I have not completely removed Wiz from my list. Need to do more research later and see where he lands on the scale of 1-10.
