Mafia 72-Vampires game thread

Why did you want to start a panic?

Renfield was Dracula's human servant besides being quite mad he was compelled to eat bugs.

All the protection is probably overkill as accoding to legend a vampire cannot enter a home unles invited in. Or is this all just show to avert suspicion? or are you boarding up the windows to keep the morning sun out?

Bonus question: Who knows the name of the actor who played Renfield in Dracula (1931)?
But aren't they already amongst the townspeople?

I have to say though, boards would not be able to stop a vampire if it really wanted to get it, but he probably already knows this already.

I apologize for being so quiet. I'm just not into it right now. Lately its taken a couple of days for me to actually want to play.

I know Wiz and Kashta live on the west coast... It wouldn't happen to be Santa Carla would it?

Then again Chill is Canadian, they are pasty white and not used to seeing the sun.

so G, are you, Chill, and Jules gonna watch True Blood or Twilight tonight?
Oh Doll....you know all the vampie movies dontcha :headshake2:
Actually it was the new Alice in Wonderland ;)

Im sixteen, and i go about 3 hours of sleep last night, so yea, im getting pretty T-ed off. And forgetful. And sleepy.

Wow, OR ELSE! can cause quite a panic, just what i wanted, it got people talking.

Eating bugs? Huh? DIE SHADOWS! (couldn't resist)

Mr. Palmer notices that his "threats", "panic", and "manic" adatude got people talking, as he had planned. He just hopes that the price wasn't to high. He walks down the street, trying to remember where his house is, when he notices that Judges truck is parked out front of lady G's place. He vaugly tries to remember what time it is, and then suddently he remebers the vampires. Its getting dark, and he doesn't wan't to be out at night, not with vamps on the loose. He still can't remeber when his house is (he's very tired from a long night of TV and a long day of finals) so he just head in a random direction, thinking that any way is just as good as any other, since he can't remeber where his house is. He fells like he's not alone though, and starts to run. As the exersize and fear reach his brain, he wakes up enuff to remeber where his house it, and runs to it. He closes the door behind him, and could swear that he heard something collide with in behind him. None of his window are open, and all the doors are locked, barred, and coated in garlic, so he just boards up the windows and puts some garlic on them, and then goes to his room, turning on lights as he goes, and starts placing his crosses, galic, and holy water in a defensive way, so that he will be well protected while he sleeps. Mr. Palmer just hopes that when he wakes up all his fish will be Ok.

GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE!
G wonders why in the world Mr. Palmer would want to cause panic...does he not see enough mistrust, fear, and paranoia around this town

Lol. We're in Las Vegas, Ice. Am accustomed to folks pursuing their more earthly pleasures... a steady stream of tourists, greed, games of chance, the sins of the flesh, and such..... where the creepiest thing I've observed is what a low-rate Elvis impersonator looks like during the daytime. Eeek!

:eek3:

ACville with it's slower pace, quaint charm, and general wholesomeness is usually most reassuring. But all this supernatural stuff is quite unsettling.

Kashta wonders whether the distant scream she just heard came from another ill-fated resident or was that just a bad dream? Checking the locks on doors and windows once more, making sure the garlic is still hung in place, and taking comfort at the sight of a crucifix over the headboard of her bed... Kashta goes back to sleep.

Snore...not much to skim at this point except the rules and some boring RPing...;)

Ain't that the truth.

As G walks through town, thoughts of the screams she heard over night go through her head. She runs into Mr. Palmer, asking him what he thought they were from, he replies he didn't hear anything. She wonders how in the world they didn't wake him too, must be a very sound sleeper. He asks her about the sign he saw about vampires, and she tells him indeed there could be vamps in town, they have been here before, and advises him to grab hold of as much garlic as he can.
Next she see's Chill walking her way, a smile spreads across her face as he greets her. She just wants to jump into his arms and tell him to keep her safe, but she knows she can't trust anyone at this point, the memory of betrayal still fresh in her mind. Her smile fades just a bit.
Off in the distance she sees Jmax in her moving van, glad to see she had decided to stay in town. G thinks to herself she needs to head over and see if Jmax needs any help unloading

It seems odd that at a time when the vampires are just moving in to ACville that G,although mistrusting of Chill for something in the past, is eager to go help a new resident that is just moving in.

Afraid to leave without explanation in fear of pi$$ing someone off, G wonders if she should yell out her window..."going to watch a movie talk to you all after" Curling up on her couch with a big bowl of buttery popcorn" Not wanting to be alone, looking at her phone, she picks it up to invite Chill and Jmax over to watch with her

Now inviting the one she is "mistrustful" of and the new one just moving in over to her house at night when vampires are active. :headshake2:

Hmmmm.......
