Mafia 72-Vampires game thread

I love the way you guys make this game out to be quantum physics. I see no issues with a grown man like 2H reading a few games and getting a fair idea how to play.

I do think his vote on user name is a bit of a waste as we only hae two posts to form an opinion of him.

I don't remember what i did last game, so maybe i did do the same thing. That just means its not a scum tell, cause i remember doing it games i was innocent to (i think, bad memory, remember).

Im sorry for digging my own grave. I still don't know egzactly how i do it. Im an working on not doing it.

Just the not digging me own grave part. Once i have that down, the game will be much easier for me. (BTW, if anyone has advice on not doing that, PLZ TELL!)

Well, i just assumed that the other roles were the same as all the other games, just with diff names: Mafia/Vamps can turn guys, and get a kill; Innocents can just throw votes and ideas around; doctor/priest can heal/save people; detective/seer gets invests; other gets other I also have a lazy problem.

I was try, however badly, to get a vamp to show themselves by jumping on me.

Thats everything you asked for, now it lies with you to decide whether i die or not. (this post was supposed to go through a 9:55, but my Internet goes off at 9:30, and i forgot cause its a weekend. Will post tomorrow, when i wake up) Now, i need to catch up.

To the green part: didn't you try claiming to be a PR in an earlier game and get railroaded by the town? Why would you try it again?

Thats when i tried to send it, but it never made it through, so i had to go back and just added that part to the end.

Sorry to hear about your problems with real life Noodles, but didn't Fire Dancer try that and get caught? It doesn't seem to be a good excuse for being called out for your game play.

I find this interesting...at some point you had to click the " " box and then when you typed your part would have seen the extra quoted material...if you were going to say something but changed your mind then say that but I find it somewhat hard to believe that you didn't notice it at all...just sayin'...

I am getting ready to leave work for the day and I am not feeling as certain about my where my vote it right now. I think it is user_name's vote there that has me hesitating...not sure why - yet. I hate second guessing but it seems to be the norm for me. I will ponder it while I drive home....

Sure, it's not rocket surgery, but there is a knack to it. When I first played, I read a couple past games and had a pretty good grasp on it, but still was not prepared at all for actually being involved in the game. There's something experienced in 2H's posts that makes me twitch a little. That plus the fact that it's day 1...

Do you think there's anything interesting in the timing of user_name's posts, Rich?

I find this interesting...at some point you had to click the " " box and then when you typed your part would have seen the extra quoted material...if you were going to say something but changed your mind then say that but I find it somewhat hard to believe that you didn't notice it at all...just sayin'...

I was on my ipod and it works a little odd with the forum's posting format...if posts get to be very long there isnt much scrolling up that can be done, none at all actually.

While 2H does seem a bit more aggressive than other new players, is it really all that conceivable that someone is coaching him? More times than not it seems like new players are told to stay out of it since most people will give them a pass at the beginning of the game.

I'm not looking at voting FF or 2H at this point. The problem is finding another place then...

you seem to have quite a bit of gameplay knowhow for someone who is playing their first game. reading through past games or not, you seem to have much more experience then you should, and its pretty suspicious. why do you think that they would dogpile on a townie?

Believe me JM I understand that.

Just a numbers game right. They win when they get numbers. They get to cast three (at least) votes on a townee with votes already. Then they convert at least one (unless the priest gets real lucky), providing Dracula doesn't use his bite.
We would be a lot less likely to question a late vote from a first timer, but it looks like I threw a monkey wrench in that! :dance2:

Pretty sure it was the RR game but maybe I am confusing the situations...either way you tried trapping the evils into doing something that would give them away in your mind and it completely backfired and got you killed.

I just found it weird that when you reposted this morning that you kept this part in the post...or why you had it in there at all...
